28/3/2017 08:26 | RNS Number : 6585A Waterman Group PLC 28 March 2017 WATERMAN AWARDED PUBLIC SECTOR CONTRACT EXTENSION Waterman Group plc ("Waterman" or "the Group"), the engineering and environmental consultancy, is pleased to announce confirmation of a two year extension to its existing partnership term contract with London Borough of Bexley until September 2019. The appointment is an important part of the long-term regeneration framework of the Borough's growth strategy for its economic, environmental and social regeneration. It will involve the provision of traffic and transportation engineering services, civil engineering, highways and infrastructure, bridgeworks, drainage, principal designers and technical staff secondment. Over the last twelve months, our team has successfully delivered the replacement of Bexley High Street Bridge, the second stage of Bexleyheath Town Centre Revitalisation on public realm design adjacent to the new Crossrail station at Abbey Wood. The framework is anticipated to generate annual fees of about £1.7m to Waterman. Nick Taylor, CEO of Waterman Group states, "We are extremely proud of our continued collaboration with London Borough of Bexley as it enters its 21st year. This is one of many prestigious frameworks in the Public sector which we look forward to developing further." | cheshire man

20/3/2017 16:27 | Agreed and I am very pleased to have added to my holding today. | norbert colon
20/3/2017 16:17 | Strange then that they are still aiming to increase their operating margin by around 50% by 2019 & the market is expecting eps for next year to rise very significantly. Look v cheap to me. | trier1
18/3/2017 09:55 | Hi Norbert – agreed, WTM could see a material dip in earnings over the next one to 2 years given its high operating leverage . That said, if the shares follow suit, then your projections of a trade buyer appearing would probably come true, thus putting a floor under price | brummy_git
18/3/2017 09:34 | Brummy - the commercial market has been curving down for a while now hence Waterman scaling up their retail work (shopping centres etc) which is also a strong segment for them. I anticipate further weakness in the valuation here as investors get bored now it's ex growth. This will no doubt provide opportunities for those with a longer time frame. It would be nice to see the board adding at these lower prices. Investors may need reminding that the board have a significant incentive to get the valuation above 100p | norbert colon
18/3/2017 09:03 | The FT reported last week they were seeing weakness in the UK commercial property market, which if true would obviously impact Waterman | brummy_git
17/3/2017 20:41 | battlebus2, Apologies for my confusion. I'm getting the record date and the ex dividend date mixed up. Thanks for the correction. | blobby
17/3/2017 19:11 | X divi is always on a Thursday. | battlebus2
17/3/2017 19:06 | Ex dividend today. So it is possible that those waiting for the dividend sold out only to see the share price drop much more than the actual dividend amount. Great value at this level. | blobby |
