11/4/2007 15:21 | Getting close to the level the directors bought at a year ago! I'm breaking one of my self imposed rules here, but just keep topping up on the dips. | mongrels1
11/4/2007 15:19 | Couldn't resist a wee nibble:-) | cwa1
11/4/2007 15:03 | Hattori_Hanzo - 14 Mar'07 - 11:06 - 189 of 233 edit -------------- Uh-huh! | hattori_hanzo
11/4/2007 14:49 | And a 4.2% yield CR | cockneyrebel
11/4/2007 14:47 | Errr..........Hello! Anyone with a brain available? From the trading statement: "It is now anticipated that profit before tax for the year will be approximately £1.8 million, reflecting these second half extra costs which are estimated to amount to £500,000." £1.8m pre-tax - that's about an 80% increase over last year! The market cap is £8.5m !!! The revised forecast is for 10p+ eps this year! PE 6.5! If someone is determined to sell then they create the value imo - these are very illiquid and dumping just hits the price - great for buyers tho. CR | cockneyrebel
10/4/2007 18:35 | Yep, TRX links, the fact the shares have reported decent results for a while yet the shareprice drifts. It just looks wrong to me - like SGP, WMK and TRX all looked wrong - can't put my finger on it but something in the market is making punters wary. I might be wrong, it's just one that has looked attractive but I've avoided because ATCG just doesn't feel quite right. CR | cockneyrebel
10/4/2007 18:11 | You may well be right about fickle RHPS punters selling out. Interested to know why you think that ATCG looks like a "dodgy" outfit. If you are referring to the previous Torex connection then I think that issue is now clearly redundant ! | masurenguy
10/4/2007 17:50 | Hmm, I'm not sure there's a comparison as I've watched ATCG for some time and it looks more like a dodgy outfit imo. Does ATCG have the 50p a share tangible assets that WTL have? I think it's more an overhang here from lots of RHPS punters buying a few K and others too that are now selling out cos they are bored and need a fix before the results in June myself. They'll be cleared eventually then this one will move imo. CR | cockneyrebel
10/4/2007 17:43 | CR - they have net debt of circa £4m and that, coupled with an unexpected profit warning, is probably keeping the share price down. Although they can cover finance costs three times this seems to be a factor blighting a number of small companies at the moment. I'm invested in ATCG and they seem to be suffering from the same syndrome despite 5x debt finance cover. They are currently on a forward PE of around 6 - 7 too ! | masurenguy
10/4/2007 16:56 | Staying in this one and think your are right CR - however, sometimes it's worth just checking that the bottom has indeed been hit. OT - what's your thoughts on MTT - I noticed you started the thread on that one & I'd be interested to know if you still think it's got legs. | plentymorefish
10/4/2007 14:48 | Looking screaming cheap now Shanklin - but as ever the bored are selling. Those that want a to buy a fwd PE of 5-7 before the results will hit this big time at some point imo. CR | cockneyrebel
04/4/2007 09:47 | Just to confirm my understanding from yesterday... ...I have just contacted Waterline and had it confirmed that Andrew Lilywhite re-joined WTL a number of months ago, presumably with one of his main objectives being to sort out the logistic problems. When I spoke with Steve Steel on the day of the trading update, these problems were described as having been resolved. So, yesterday's announcement is nothing to do with Andrew Lilywhite re-joining the company; they just reflect the fact that he's now been appointed to its "Operational Board". Cheers, Martin | shanklin
04/4/2007 08:13 | CR:> You are right. I have it good authority that he left because of personality difficulties and when these were removed he came back. I understand he is supposed to be very good and this business is very much about logistics so lets hope the Board have made a wise decision. | pugugly
03/4/2007 17:17 | reads to me like he has returned to the co after leaving in Oct 04 Shanks CR | cockneyrebel
03/4/2007 16:57 | mongrels1 Re-reading the RNS, I'm sure my interpretation is correct, albeit it could have been made a great deal clearer. Cheers, Martin | shanklin
03/4/2007 16:46 | A very poorly written statement. I read it as a new appointment from outside the business, but who has worked for WTL in the past. It then talks about how he has been already contributed. But then implies he has been esewhere since Oct '04 Staggering how a simple statement can be made so ambiguous. | mongrels1
03/4/2007 16:38 | FWIW, I see this as an appointment of an existing member of staff to the Operational Board. I presume he is the guy that has sorted out the problems left by his predecessor. Cheers, Martin | shanklin
03/4/2007 16:32 | Pleased to see the appointment of a new Logistics Director. Having said that this appointment does make me wonder whether, or not, the problems causing a great deal of the recently announced losses have aleady been resolved properly, or has just a bit more, costly, care been taken in the handling? Let us hope that this is the proper remedial action needed. Wonder if this will cause ANY share price movement. | knowsleyman
03/4/2007 16:24 | Nice appointment announced, that's what we need - they have the guy back who whas controlling logistics prior to float - obviously know his calibre imo. CR | cockneyrebel
03/4/2007 15:34 | got to suffer the ways of the minority sometimes if you want to make money. How many selling? How many sells? It's all minor but holds us back short term. But I think when people actually stop to think they will be buying this PE imo. CR | cockneyrebel
03/4/2007 15:28 | The steady sellers are continuing to lower the price. I do wonder just how much lower the share price has yet to go. Sitting on the sidelines waiting for an indication of buyers before topping up. | knowsleyman
26/3/2007 11:57 | RSI now vewrylow and indicating well oversold - reckon these could be in for a decent bounce soon now most of the weak have left. CR | cockneyrebel
22/3/2007 11:40 | they will mongrels - anything over 2500 is delayed - the buy or sell tag is the computers best guess but as the price has moved up from the price you traded at it gets fooled. Well done tho - the bored have let you have them cheap imo. CR | cockneyrebel
22/3/2007 11:28 | In the five times I have bought this stock in the last eight months, my buys have been shown as sells four times! | mongrels1 |
