09/3/2007 07:45 | Well it will be a nice one philjeans I'm sure. Seems the punters concerns that we might no be buying kitchens or home stuff isn't happening - sales are well on target. It's a short term acquisition thing that has been resolved. that 8p mark down leaves the fwd PE at 7 or less still. And bloody good growth in profits of 30%+ over last year and the shares still below the float price! CR | cockneyrebel

09/3/2007 07:10 | Another AIM profit warning : Waterline Group plc 09 March 2007 WATERLINE GROUP PLC (AIM: WTL) TRADING UPDATE The Board of Waterline Group Plc ('Waterline' or the 'Group'), one of the leading suppliers to the fitted kitchen industry in the UK, today announces a trading update for the year to 31 March 2007. Turnover is expected to be in line with expectations, but due to cost overruns in logistics, warehousing and IT, relating to the acquisition of Coolectric, profit for the year will be below market expectations. It is now anticipated that profit before tax for the year will be approximately £1.8 million, reflecting these second half extra costs which are estimated to amount to £500,000. The Board believes that as a result of various steps taken to correct these issues Waterline is in a stronger position to pursue further growth. The Board continues to evaluate other strategic opportunities within its sector and, with robust levels of current business, looks forward to the future with optimism. | papalpower
08/3/2007 16:26 | and forecast growth of 80% this year, 30+% next year. Strong director shareholding and fairly recent buying. They embark on a load of roadshows from next month too - can only be good for the share imo. CR | cockneyrebel
08/3/2007 16:24 | missed the sub 80 top-up opp but still look cheap anyway. I try to keep shares simple and this one has strong NAV (60p approx) growing business low forward pe decent dividend good sector decent trading history rising profits good margins and all this for a CAP of about 11m | alansmith23
08/3/2007 08:19 | Bit more stock around today. Managed to get 4.5k at mid price 8-) | bigbigdave
08/3/2007 08:15 | if all the buying in the past few days has cleared the sell then a big breakout shouldn't be far off imo. moving up already this am CR | cockneyrebel
07/3/2007 14:43 | Outragous fwd PE of 7 now after the rise, earnings growth 80% this year, 30%+ next year. Super-cheap imo CR | cockneyrebel
07/3/2007 11:54 | Been in this for a while now and agree with most/all of what CR says. There seems to be a steady increase in the level interest in this share which must also be good news. | mongrels1
07/3/2007 07:57 | Omega International (OME) results very upbeat - Kitchens! Only on a PE of about 22 - nearly 4 times the PE of WTL and lower growth! Long term hold for me The Daddy. CR | cockneyrebel

06/3/2007 20:54 | Will admit to finally picking up a few here of late on the back of that weekend tip - been looking at getting in here at under 80p. Been monitoring a while here mainly after the nice write up and BUY recommendation in Hargreaves Aim Insight last December which brought this 'little gem' to my attention. | tole

06/3/2007 12:34 | Can't be that much stock about - someone had to pay 86p earlier for 11.5K when the offer was 85p. CR | cockneyrebel
06/3/2007 08:41 | moving up - nothing like it will do when that seller has gone tho - or perhaps he is gone now? CR | cockneyrebel
05/3/2007 18:42 | Cambium - Kindly don't mention GNG. If you go back on the thread you'll see I was one of the first people to post on there and I bought in at the all time low (19.5p), but I banked my profits at 32p because I was a bit nervous about holding such a new chinese IPO. ;-( CR - Yep, it does look like your seller has got more shares than sense! It certainly seems stupid to sell a share on a forward PE of 6! I guess if the seller has a shedload of shares they're more interested in raising capital now than maximising their profits by holding until the price rises to a fairer value. ps: Aye, it's all about timing. One man's bagger is another man's breakeven. | hattori_hanzo
05/3/2007 17:29 | There's your seller at the close, 47K. A stale bull or two - but then they might have been in from the float and not seen any gain in these over 18 months and disheartened. But that's their bad luck imo cos when they bought in July 2005 they bought a fwd PE of 17. Today it's a fwd PE of 6 but they've probably lost patients. They have probably killed the shareprice rise with their own selling too imo. Buying shares is about timing :-) CR | cockneyrebel |
