Maybe some written requests to IR for informtion would be approptiate Ticboo.

1. Some indication on when we are likley to get information from the company,
Tech conference schedules, trading updates, information on when we are likley to go to quarterly reporting
2.. to note the unusual price action. I think commentary is warrented now. Several weeks of extreme volume fluctuations at a single price, the emergence of a significant shareholder and no trading updates from the company.

The more the merrier ... not sure that this is sustainable without a statemnet either to acknowledge or refute speculation on whats going on? what do you think?

Yes the source code management is pretty steady each year and last year had just shy of $7m of bookings so not to be sniffed at. A little smaller than $400m but they can buy our division (although I'm sure it's profitable) for $105m and give a special dividend of £40m (or whatever £1 a share is) and the rest can be contingent. As if!

Since this trading statement mid Jan we haven't had one contract announcement so they've surely changed their RNS criteria. We were also told Microsoft and Alibaba would not take long to integrate fusion so should hit the ground running. We have begun 2018 with a strong new business pipeline across multiple industry verticals, not only through our partnership with IBM, but also via our other channel partners, as we maximise our routes to market. With the proceeds of the recent placing we have the resources to capitalise on the opportunity in front of us."

GitHub is certainly winning at the moment but that can change as aside from the people using/contributing to it they don't have a USP. Who's to say another provider might become in vogue, albeit it will take time for people to switch over. Point is they don't have a USP like wand have and one that seems very difficult to come near to. So 15x revenue seems a lot and tells me Wand should be valued at a higher multiple. A convoluted way to say that and being long I would wouldn't I?! My hope is that wand have a good H1 and a stonking H2 that more than doubles (preferably trebles) FY big days revenue and bookings even more so. The market wants to see the forward orders too and then Wand will continue to get higher and I don't see why they won't be even 750m market cap come YE. Sting that if H1 disappoints (this is clearly not priced in) the share price will fall a fair whack before I imagine recovering.

Doesn’t WAND have its own fork of Git? This is the ALM business isn’t it.. it’s the piece that’s fading for Wand. But developer collaboration and version control is going open source .. and GitHub appears to have won the war...

I note they paid 15x for revenues...

Revenue $400 mn.

David Richards with a 3 min slot on proactive investors today. Nothing new obviously but very optimistic about the OEMs that should drive growth.

Will MS-Github vertically integrate with Azure? Let's hope it does as that can only be good for wand and I'm sure Microsoft want to challenge Amazon and AWS.

* Richards spoke about a £1bn+ co and that was years ago. That should NOT be out of reach in a year's time.

Fair points all of which seem to make sense. The VP of sales and marketing at IBM on Nov last year was bigging up their sales pipeline and since then we've had one big contract RNS (Jan) and nothing since which seems very odd. Given where turnover is likely to be a £15/share offer means a £600m or so market cap and it wand manage to get FY18 to £40m the multiple looks healthy. I still believe the CEO would recommend a higher offer given the market opportunity, wand's USP and the partner strategy seems the best route to market this could be a lot higher revenue, profit and market cap on 12 a months or so. Richards spoke about a £1bn+ co and that was years ago. That should be out of reach in a year's time.Obviously many have bought sub £6 so a 150%+ gain is attractive but I'm sure some would see the potential. I certainly do!

I don't think they have any obligation to release information outside of committed reporting dates.

Suspect the cadence of RNS was formerly related to needing to communicate that they actually had a business , and ofcourse they needed to raise cash.

My own view is that M&A imminent and someone is looking under the hood, in the data locker and getting ready to make an offer ... given the new ownership, the sticky £10 level and the complete lack of news flow it seems the only likely scenario....

1. Why would IBM business suddenly dry up?
2. MSFT , Byte , Dell, Baba surely generating something...
3. II adding , suggest some decent DD
4. Deafening silence...

£15 is my guess ..

Where are these haste's coming from? I assume we'll get another holdings RNS. Someone must be confident (Swedes again?) to be buying so many at £10+.

One month left in the half year so hopefully it's a good one with plenty of bookings. The company has surely decided not to RNS contract wins although I believe they have to if it's material (value or if a new sector) so I'm surprised the last one was early Jan. Any ideas?

I tweeted the co a few days ago congratulating them on the partnerships and said I hoped H1 continues the impressive big data momentum as the raise was to accelerate growth. I've done the same to David Richards in the past too. I doubt the IR team would give away much and I'd be reluctant to post on here anything to erode any trust. No news must be good news and on their website there any a couple of sales positions, lots of engineers needed and a new customer service one. It looks like they're looking for several people to fill each role. Perhaps they've decided material contract wins are now above $4m and Wand have been winning several below. Sept seems too far away! Hopefully the update will have more meat as far as strategy and where the money raised is being utilised.

Lots of jobs on the website, the majority customer facing, meaning they have a capacity problem designing solutions for customers and getting the business in.

Tickboo, why don't just ask the question about the contract win RNS's to the WAND investor relations email address and get a proper response.

Most of the trades today were buys, and some very significant size at that, and yet the price doesn't move. How does that work?

Yep, this year on top of standard RNSs we've had 3 partnership RNSs (Byte Tech, Microsoft and Alibaba), a third joint-broker appointed RNS, the Cloudera project and the VP of research appointment and one big contract early Jan and no other contract news so nearly 6 months without one which tells me they've changed their contract reporting criteria. Who knows but I'm comforted by these chunky buys, another £1m* and nearly £500,000 buys as well as other decent sized ones. Be good for them to chuck us a bone though!

Tickboo ..... twisting in the wind.

You are right a long long time since we heard from the company... all comms ceased post the raise...Its odd indeed but nott to be feared... its hard to imagine that business has dried up.. so suggest either a new strategy on comms , or some corporate action pending ....even if we suppose MSFT and other have strict control of Communications .. we know that IBM is happy to broadcast... so silnce may well be golden...

Suggest we all turn our screens off and enjoy the summer sun.... news will travel fast when it hits....

Lots of supply but plenty of buying it takes two to tango...

More accumulation. Where are these shares coming from? Hopefully once the accumulation has stopped and I assume it's the Swedish tech fund it'll move higher still. They must be super confident to buy at this level. Must be gutted they didn't take part in the raise at 5.50 but I guess they're onboard due to the Alibaba and Microsoft link ups amongst others. I'm a one man show on this B.B. but hey, my other investment is red day after day!
