back to 0.17p, so clearly someone is manipulating something.

Have you tried threatening them with a winding up petition. Its VERY powerful. I once threatened a quoted plc for a 10 grand debt. Got paid instantly and they went bust 3 months later

So presumably, if a tiny tick up in the price meant that everything was dandy, and great news was about to be announced, the meaning of the price sliding back to 0.17p-0.23p is that it's all off, all over and nothing doing ?

No, of course not. These tiny fluctuations in the price don't mean much at all, except that EVBG still have a few hundred million shars to punt out, and they'll manipulate the price in any way which helps them to do so.

Many told me to get out of Amey back in 2003 for the same resons, I stuck with them for a few months until they were taken over, and took an 8% profit as opposed to bailing out with a 50% loss. I plan to hang on here for the same reason, profit is better than being chicken !

the banks are no longer involved. it was their decision to recall all financing that led to a restructure. new money came from loan notes and new money for new shares added to the share capital offloaded to the market. no bank is willing to provide finance now, so unless there is a return to profitability wigmore will sink and take its investors with it.

i am guessing, but the announcement i am half expecting soon is with regards to any new strategy or company re-structuring as a result of burnbrae/global. but with evo, seymour etc wanting their cut, and the hewitts letting this go, the future's moribund.

Surely not? This was 'napped' on numerous occasions, at far higher prices, by none other than Watson-Mitchell aka Dr Death.

si007,

What 'suprise announcement' do you think will come out ?

The new major shareholders have only been such for a short time, and Rome wasn't built in a day. 2-3 weeks from now is the time I expect to see a plan to appear.

cannot see any driving force behind this share price, apart from downwards as loan notes continue to be converted. Upwards share price movement can only come from good news about trading and future strategy, of which there is none.

the board is a shambolic mis-match. with global and burnbrae represented as a majority shareholding, and with no plans for business recovery, and the hewitts record, how can anyone put faith or money in this one?

remember too, no trading update at the agm. and remember too that the special resolution was passed at the agm, which will dilute the shares even more (and if wigmore is worth £x with y shares in issue, it will still be worth £x when there are y+z shares in issue, which will drive the price down even further - the maths is simple).

I think there may be a surprise announcement in the next week or so, and that will shock when it comes.

PSmith,

Good points, but I see the price is still going up, and that's good enough for me to hang in there and see what pans out, ie the things being discussed in the boardroom that you and I know nothing about. Also no one knows what contracts the new directors could bring to WGT, or whether they want to merge any of the companies they are involved in with WGT, or if as you said before they want to sell everything off, and reverse another company into the shell. I think even a 5 year wait for a 100% profit is still more than I would get in the bank, so I will stick with it with my few thou' gamble.

JakNife RE - "You've lost over 90% of your stake and yet you're still ramping this one like mad and claiming that it's the best thing since sliced bread.
Good luck Blavod, you're going to need it"

You obviously didn't read the bit where I said "I bought in 2 weeks ago and I am down, but nowhere near your 90%" or "I am only a short blip from beak-even right now" so re-iterating that old chesnut of 90% is incorrect when referring to me. Also I am not "ramping like mad" (making a share sound good in the hope that people will buy) (mountain and molehill come to mind!) I am telling it how I see it, price going up and I am sticking with it. As for WGT being the best thing since sliced bread - er - no, my big bucks are in other companies, and it is those that are going to prove to be the best thing since sliced bread for me !
I will accept the good luck though :)

BLADVOD & SAGEM - How can you continue to try and defend this share, when it is obvious you must have been in since before the suspension, and have lost over 90%,

Well you know so much ... but nothing about me.
I bought in 2 weeks ago and I am down, but nowhere near your 90%, and I am very positive that this company will prove a winner, for me and for those that buy on the way back up.
You cannot deny the price IS going up, and if you took out a short on these hoping for 0.1p, you have made the mistake not me.

Jaknife
I don't care if EVO sell all the shares they have at this price to various clients of theirs, as that will add this price as support in any future downward trend.

All
People are still buying at .3 and .29 today, and that is why WGT is 3rd highest riser, following on from yesterdays position in the top risers, and at the silly current MCap it's going to continue upwards.
I can't wait for the next trading report, or news that Hewitt+wife are kicked out, because the rise on either will likely give my portfolio a very nice boost as I am only a short blip from beak-even right now.
