Aye, aye: what's "up" here? I hadn't realised that it was permitted by the stock exchange for this stock to move in an upwards direction! This is VERY suspicious and hopefully won't last too long due to its blood pressure raising effect...

Polygon must be asking themselves how they ever got involved with this basket case

WHI paid £7.8m to acquire Harpsden

It added 14% to their AUM, increasing it by £250m to £2bn

At the interims in December AUM was up to £2.4bn (assumed lower now)

At £25m today , the Harpsden acquisition cost more than 30% of the mkt cap

So is the share price undervalued? or did they overpay for Harpsden?

More 'investment'... at a cost of, say, £1 million a year in salaries? Would be good to know when shareholders are going to see a return!

LOL, of course it was them ;-)

Still left with just under 5%, which they can hardly be committed to...

M&G the seller -- they've taken a fairly hefty loss on that, I think. Surprised, I thought it would have been Oceanwood.

Well, it seems like there were precisely 2 people interested in that holding announcement this morning :-) Ho hum.

I'd also be interested to see who the seller was. There's only 3 holders big enough for it to be and the most logical, as mentioned above, would be Oceanwood. It also is within a whisker of their total holding anyway, so my guess is they are now out: lock, stock and barrel. Of course I could be wrong and it is one of the other two.

Shouldn't be long until we find out.

Will also be very interested to see what they intend to do with their stake. My guess is that they won't be entirely passive holders...

Mountain Berg now has a 9.8% stake. Apparently an investment vehicle of David Ross, Carphone Warehouse founder.. could be interesting.

I’ve watched the results webcast. Seems like the business is in better shape than it was two years ago, but still reliant on acquisitions for growth. Those will inevitably involve raising new equity imo (I’ve lost count of the number of new capital raises WHI has done in the last 5 years), in which presumably Polygon, M&G and the directors will get to participate at a nice discount. The webcast talks of lots on ‘investment217; in both divisions, but that really just means hiring more people. When is that going to stop, so that long-suffering shareholders can start to see the benefit? I forget when Polygon first invested here (2015?) – I wonder if they knew then that they would still not have exited nearly 7 year later. Surely they must be selling out soon?! I live in hope.

Still no sign of the interims, even though I've asked the company. Director buying at 40p, 48p and 58p over the last year, so I assume the results will show continued strong progress..

Anyone know when the interim results are out here? 26 October last year. finncap had some decent figures today, so I'm looking forward to seeing whether WHI can carry on from the relative success of last year. Hoping this management team can be more consistent than previous managements.

News of an upcoming IPO which WHI is handing:
