Yes, lots of angles - the HP branding shows what can be done probably very easily just by uploading graphics.

If these VR conferences become the norm it will save companies thousands in travel costs, not to mention environmental benefits too.

1pencil;advertising has many directions these days.
I have been involved with both MIRI and BIDS from very early on, too. The shares have been on a real journey, especially the latter but that's another story.
The future of advertising is at an extreme crossroads, currently.

Generation 'Z' and the Millenials, apparently, do not watch television so the advertisers are desperate to find another avenue.
Yes, you might be right about You tube but certainly they are thinking rather different formats; native advertising is an example, inserted into video games.
It is unbelievable what they can do.
They can tailor the adverts to the individual.
In MIRI they show a scene where there is a clear coffee table for example having an item added later.
A can of coco cola perhaps.
If you drink something else then it might be tea or whatever.
It's rather big brother though.

The advertising is more subtle but it seems effective.
So VRE could have a bonus here if they have the means and creativity to implement.

hazl (2397),

That was one of the reasons for my investment decision, independent feedback from physicians who are generally a conservative bunch.

To see comments like 'blown away' makes one take note.

On the sponsorship/advertising angle, how do you see this playing out. Perhaps along the lines of a YouTube channel where they create content to attract viewers then receive sponsorship for product placement or YouTube generated ads?

Lastly, something I have seen mentioned briefly is the rollout of 5G, this may also have a benefit for VR as bandwidth increased enabling even greater resolution.

Apparently according to earstocks Wikipenny just added VRE channel to discord.

They were already involved....so not sure what this means.

Assuming Octopus are buying they may well clear out possible overhang from seed capital investors. January saw one fund under 3% but since then Octopus have picked up around 2% so should be close.

This goes up grudgingly because punters got bored earlier when it didn't deliver the goods immediately. So many unrecognised facets to this lot. Oh well : will have to wait for the usual herd instinct to kick in. Now one of my largest holdings.

Here's something that caught my attention of the weekend,

The ENGAGE Expo Hall appears to be hosting the Univirtual with HP, this bit of particular interest;

"@HP has killer branding here including helicopters, blimps, statues and headsets lining the shelves"

Virtual adverting in a VR world, the possibilities for revenue sharing with host/and or platform providers seem significant unless I am missing something?

The below could apply to today's TU, perhaps Octopus will also follow suit.

Total Group revenue, including Showcase revenue, is €0.8 million.

Revising f/y figures based on today's info I would expect VRE to clear the €3 million hurdle, as noted US museums are now reopening which should help.

1pencil29 Apr '21 - 14:43 - 2378 of 2388 Edit

That was a pretty impressive TU on the 7th, Octopus obviously thought similar.

In three months VRE have signed up 28 new customers, or roughly half of the full year 2020 of 60. If we extrapolate first quarter group revenue of €0.6 million it would give a f/y figure of €2.4 million, however I think this could be conservative given the current momentum.

VRE is focused on becoming a leading global provider of virtual communications solutions through ENGAGE and its three solutions: Virtual Campus, Virtual Office, and Virtual Events. In the first four months of 2021, ENGAGE has signed up more than 30 new enterprise and institutional customers, including Abbot Laboratories, KPMG, MongoDB, and the US State Department. These organisations join 60 clients that signed contracts during 2020. In total, the Group has now signed up 100 organisations to the ENGAGE platform since its launch in May 2019.
