Sure it's not a good day for us today but shares are about the future
online meetings are the way forward.

Look at this an FT online event 18th to the 20th March.

Well prior to COVID the FE were even more dire than they are now so would have been gamblingimo this is completely overbought and would not be surprised to see a substantial sell off over the next few days

Companies like this were in at 5p and probably have other companies to invest in so cashing in..It was clear from the CEO interview on LSE that 2021 could be a massive year for VRE and everything has been building for success this year..They are definitely without doubt in a better position now than they were when the share price hit 25p last summer...Patience is needed but I'm confident this will come good...Good luck all

Perhaps they have reduced because the think the virus is being sorted mushy?
I believe along with many, that we are in a new paradigm and that online is here to stay.
I expect that doctors appointments will continue to be carried out online.
Shopping deliveries booked and delivered through an online process.
As a society this becomes the norm.

I only have to look at the above link to get intrigued all over again by the skills of this company and the many uses individuals will find for the technology.

I accept that the share price will fluctuate and there are no guarantees in this business but ENGAGE is getting out there now and being used!

Hazl,
My 2099 above didn't elicit a response. This sale need not be construed as a loss of confidence, as providers of seed capital to start ups their agenda will be diffrent to other shareholders.

Ireland-based VR Education Holdings (VRE.L), founded by David and Sandra Whelan in 2014, found early success with the first VR Space simulation, Apollo 11. They introduced the PC and VR Engage platform for education and training in 2018. Engage provides enterprises, schools and institutions a VR platform full of varied classrooms and environments. Institutions pay a license fee, but importantly, individual teachers can buy a $10/month subscriptions, enabling private classrooms and custom content upload. Engage offers a modest library of 360 videos, that can be viewed as a group. Users can also upload links to YouTube videos. Many environments have working scenes and whiteboards, or you can just spawn one. Engage is the only VR collaboration app we know of that will enable a fully embodied conference attended by 1000 simultaneous users (avatars), as they did for HTC’s Ecosystem conference last Spring. HTC liked it so much, they invested in the company and are now resellers of the Engage platform. Since March, VR Education Holdings’ share price has tripled as well. In May, new Fidelity employees participated in team-building exercises, games and some training with the VR headsets in Engage.

ENGAGE gets it's mention in Forbes.

'HTC held it’s international ecosystem conference last April on the Engage Platform, with hundreds of fully embodied avatars, each representing a person somewhere in the world in a VR headset. eXp Realty (NASDQ: EXPI) is a fast-growing international real estate broker with no physical offices. Instead, they meet online using a platform powered by Virbela, a 3D virtual world for business that users navigate using the 2D screens of their laptop computers, like a super-simplified Second Life for business.'

They have the VictoryXR agreement as well be interesting to see if that is bringing in any cash.
It has been quite a year for VRE.
They had 'VR Education Holdings PLC HTC launches ENGAGE as VIVE Sessions in China'
back in October.
VR Education Holdings PLC Launch of ENGAGE Mobile before that in July.
Before that the Strategic Partnership with HTC Corporation.and of course 'ENGAGE released on Apple App store'.

Thanks Cephalosaurus for the link.
I can hardly believe the 8 hours to 15 minutes however there is no doubt that VR can bring experiences that would have required travel to the present location.

'For example, according to a recent Harvard Business Review article, VR reduced training time for Wal-Mart workers from eight hours to fifteen minutes. '

' David Whelan, CEO of VR Education, said : "I am pleased to announce the release of the iOS version of ENGAGE today as we look towards an exciting 2021. This year has seen many milestones for the Group, which today delivered on the promise of ENGAGE running on Apple products. This means we have now built and deployed versions of the platform for use on most mobile phones and tablets.

"Further ENGAGE progress this year saw the Group deliver a key commercial partnership with HTC, which also became a significant shareholder. Through this partnership, ENGAGE has been tailored and deployed on the Chinese mainland with HTC leading sales and development in that region. We have had strong demand in the US and Asia with more than 50 deals signed this year, and today's announcement removes the last technical barriers to our business developers when talking to clients 9who might not have access to VR equipment.

"While 2020 has been about developing the ENGAGE platform and proving our business model, the focus for 2021 is on scaling our business and we look forward to working hand in hand with our key partners to achieve our goals."

When CES opted to hold its 2021 conference virtually instead of canceling it outright, its organizers promised a state-of-the-art digital experience that would strive to be just as experiential as its traditional live shows in Las Vegas. And while much has been made of CES’s “seven figure” investment in videoconferencing tech and virtual convention halls, some attendees have bemoaned that the event has fallen below expectations.
