Trading Update
First Artist Corporation plc (AIM: FAN), a transatlantic media and entertainment company is pleased to release a trading update. Yesterday the Company released its audited results for the 12-month period ended 30 November 2010.
Since taking over as the new management of First Artist Corporation in December of 2010, Jeremy Barbera and David Stoller have worked collaboratively with the staff to improve the financial performance of the group. Several new executives have recently joined the Group including Marcus Yeoman who was appointed to the Board of Directors and Sarah Hall who was appointed as Managing Director of Dewynters, working alongside Anthony Pye-Jeary. Spotco has launched a Cultural Group recruiting several new and experienced staff members who have already expanded Spotco's presence into the performing and visual arts sector.
In addition to continuing to work with its normal base of clients in theatre and film, the Group is pleased to have developed new high profile client relationships, including:

For the unaudited period from 1 December 2010 to 30 April 2011, the Board believes that Group turnover has increased by nearly 12 percent, compared to the same period in the prior financial year.
Over this same 5-month period, EBITDA has improved by more than GBP1,000,000, compared to the same period in the prior financial year as a result of new client engagements and discontinuing certain operations of the Group.
Commenting, Chief Executive of First Artist, Jeremy Barbera, said:
"We are very pleased with the progress made by the Group in such a short period of time. We have substantially completed our goal of reshaping the business into a highly focused media and entertainment company. We have also secured a number of new key contracts, increasing turnover and profitability, and we look forward to building on this success throughout the rest of the year."
