So, there we have it. Divi increased to an annualised 60c:

"Volta Finance Limited ("the Company") hereby announces that it has declared a quarterly interim dividend of €0.15 per share payable on 16 January 2025 amounting to approximately €5.49 million, approximately equating to an annualised 8% of net asset value. The ex-dividend date is 12 December 2024 with a record date of 13 December 2024."

Remember our dividend is calculated at 8% NAV. If we have just a moderately good Nov/Dec then the divi could move up from 58c to 60c.

We would then have a c11% yield and an ongoing c28% discount.

VTA almost embarrassingly cheap!

A v good October with a 4.8% increase and month end 7.47 NAV highest since January 2020 when the share price was e6.6.
Call me a party pooper but I am not opening the champagne or buying more as am bracing myself for alot of turbulence in H2 25. Not selling either and too bad the bid offer spread is so high.

I guess to counter that the risk free rate is declining here as well as in the Eurozone. Lower inflation beating returns are much better than higher no inflation beating returns.

sp increase today no surprise given yesterday's report of a v good September...although for a £ investor like me there are the headwinds of a weaker euro against £.

Sky,

Wasn't looking to sell but was just interested to see what the price was. Yes I can see the quoted price but was trying to see what real time actual prices others were getting on a dummy trade.

hindsight, my broker doesn't have DMA and so best I could do would be to leave a limit order but experience says they never get actioned. As I said though I am not looking to sell.

Gary - they're 5.35-5.40 on Euronext; so indeed, 5.11 looks a rubbish price.

Better surely to wait until after they go XD on Thursday.

I am being quoted €5.11 to sell 1K of these which seems extraordinarily low, based on the prices quoted on ADVFN and the level that trades are going through at. Could anybody confirm that this really is the case?

Quarterly dividend declared, maintained at 0.145 Eur, payable 22nd October.

Yield is 10.64% at current offer price.

joey - I find the Euro VTA more liquid, but depending on your circumstances could be more complicated as Euro divi.

End Aug'24 NAV shows YTD + 10.9%. Pretty impressive performance.

It's down to your preference, both should be equally available. Personally I prefer the sterling quoted VTAS but it shouldn't make much difference
