16/12/2007 12:04 | On the other side of the coin it could indicate that the directors are showing faith in the company going forward. Why didn't they buy when the share price was at it's lowest? I managed to pick some up at .0065p but they paid more. I know they haven't bought a lot but there are some out there that don't even bother. Don't get me wrong I am not defending them and they need to start delivering as the market seems to have lost all faith in them. The lack of news and when the news did come the lack of substance put paid to the share price I hope that there is something more to the rise as I was monitoring the tradeability on Thurs and Friday. On both days the mm's were willing to pay above the bid and in quantity. At the close they were offering to pay 1.638p for 200k whereas a few weeks ago they would have lopped .25p off the published bid. How many times did they literally rape someone trying to sell in quantity. Also on Friday it wasn't possible to buy on line anything over 50k, we are talking less than £1000!! So why the change in stance? A few weeks back you couldn't sell in quantity but could have picked up well over 200K for less than the published offer. At one stage you couldn't get 10k on line and very very briefly they allowed 100k but slammed the door shut as the buys came in. Mustn't get too excited as the day's volume wasnt great at just under a million but a lot of that was because the mm's weren't allowing volume buys. I dont know the reasoning behind this but cant imagine that they were short of stock. Hope this doesn't fizzle out but I expect the mm's to drop the share price on Monday to get some stock or maybe they were just having a laugh at our expense? | digger27

15/12/2007 10:01 | shaun the rules state that if there is news to be released, [ie, known to directors] then its a closed period [I think 30 days] and they are not allowed to buy or sell. [Edit:] If we do hear news and the share price goes up - I will write to the FSA with a complaint. Hence I dont think we will hear anything for another month. pc :-[ Edit: Again- SHAME-ON-YOU, DIRECTORS! For using the lack of news and drop in share price to add to your very small holding of shares?Duty of care to shareholders - More like, I'm all right Jack - S@d you. | pc4900074200
15/12/2007 07:01 | PC - It could even be the case that vvm gave each of the directors the money and told them to buy shares at th esame telling them it would be classed as an xmas bonus. It also seems odd that the same happened on SCO yesterday and the price dropped, but vvm really flew 63% up in one day, in my eyes this rise must be based on something else, the shares purchase where poor. | oneillshaun
14/12/2007 19:25 | Hi, people. Story of my life! Out all day and come home to see the share price has improved. I will now bring a few down to earth? The amount that has been bought by our directors is IMHO nothing to shout about at all. Thinking logically, they have left us hanging out to dry for weeks, allowing the share price to drop well over 50%. Now they pop-up spending what amounts to pence buying 100K or there-about of shares. Sorry directors, if you read this post, you will have to improve on what you have done so far, by a long way. Most posting on this thread hold far in excess of the amounts you now have and at a lot higher price. To spend what amounts to less than the average persons Christmas bonus and at a time when the price is at an all-time low, does not impress me! What would have been impressive would have been a flurry of Director buys after the sale of Red-eye to retain the share price where it was at that time. From those buys we can take it that there will not be any significant news to boost the share price any higher in the near future. As, if there was, your buys would be classed as inappropriate due to the fact it is the directors that would be the only persons to know of that news and could be classed as insider dealing. As I said, Not impressed with what has gone on! pc | pc4900074200
