23/11/2007 10:20 | what to comapre paper losses???? I bet mine is bigger than yours??? | oneillshaun
23/11/2007 10:18 | I think it is purely down to the fact that the revenue generating business was sold off and we are now left with a business with limited cash trying to sign up deals for the two remaining products. As there is no news on this front the market must take the view that nothing is going to happen for a while and keeps on dropping the share price Trouble is by the time any deals are struck the share price will be that low it's a hell of a hill to climb unless the products can be seen as a must have for others in the industry. I don't think an MBO is in the offing and let's face it Merlin could buy us out at this market cap if it wanted to. Having said this I am probably wrong as my investing track record isn't exactly good judging by the amount of paper losses I am carrying. | digger27
23/11/2007 09:12 | if anyone has the answers they don't seem to be sharing them. 4S | 4shorty
23/11/2007 08:41 | Pure supposition but it would fit and as I said 0.3% of shares sold is small. Just trying to find an answer for what is going on. pc | pc4900074200
23/11/2007 08:36 | PC do you know of any news or is this supposition, would look very bad if mbo was announced, who would by the shares? there would have to be billions for vvm to raise any amount of money!!! 4S | 4shorty
22/11/2007 19:53 | Just been tallying up the trades over the last 21 days. If you take ADVFN's account as true [Which we all know can be way-out] there has been 684,891 sold and 25,000 bought. The sold represents 0.3% of total shares in issue. Not much IMO? We have four points to consider here? We all feel that an update is required? There was talk of a placing of shares around this time? The web site [I know I go on about it] is out of date? We have rumours of a MBO? Now, there may [And I may be in dreamland] news coming, and it may be good. Coinciding with a revised web site and a placing of shares. Although the placing would hurt us long suffering shareholders, any news on the good side would soften the blow and make a placing attractive to new investors. Regarding a MBO. I think an announcement along those lines, given, that on the recommendation of the management, VVM sold off a major future revenue-making chunk, very, unlikely. My reasoning for that is the time span is too near for it not to look blatantly obvious that this was planned and would, IMO, contravene the duty of care to shareholders that all Directors should subscribe to. Thoughts, anyone? pc | pc4900074200
22/11/2007 12:50 | Not much good news anywhere else, IDD down ERU down this is all down to the mms, lets hope there is some good news round the corner. SL2 | shortlegs2
22/11/2007 12:31 | pc - I know how you feel. Had 2 go up yesterday on news COP - good drilling results and RENE - further advancements with stem cell research. Both down today along with a myriad of others. I thought yesterday was bad but am afraid to do the calculation today!!! Got no option but to grin and bear it for time being as selling out could be sheer lunacy I think, I hope. Fingers firmly crossed. shaun - good news which all adds to life's rich tapestry. Best of luck with whatever you decide. | digger27
22/11/2007 12:02 | Another 'blood-bath' for me today, the mm's have picked on all the other shares I hold that they have not hit over the last few days. :-[[ Thinking of giving-up on this game. pc Edit: Thinking that holding long-term is a waste of space? | pc4900074200

21/11/2007 12:15 | We should be thinking positive ATM. The share price may have dropped and we now have talk about a management buy out but we should remember that theres future revenue owed to the company [us] from DrugPrint and Pathscore. If there was a MBO that future revenue would have to be added and as the sales of these are not known as of yet, how could they place a value on VVM for a MBO? pc | pc4900074200
21/11/2007 11:16 | MBO by january. 4Shorty - nothing we can do about it. | oneillshaun |
