24/3/2016 08:43 | What does 'to much as one putting all their (sic) money of the software replacing the harware' mean ? | dogwalker
23/3/2016 23:16 | NR thoughts increasing debt, decreasing market for hardware sales. Software co is growing and great margin but unless they can evolve and stay ahead of the pack ....I wouldn't want to invest to much as one os putting all their money of the software replacing the harware.I think this will weigh down the shareprice medium term | my retirement fund
23/3/2016 16:18 | Personally I wouldn't take a blind bit of notice of Smithie6. The guy seems to think he's some kind of shares/expert/guru. Rather tiresome, boring individual me thinks | 1fox1
23/3/2016 13:57 | "That buying alone takes the oversold shares out of the market and hence it's difficult to buy now at that low share price level." your premise Nick should conclude its good to buy especailly at a low price so please explain why it is difficult to buy- or do you mean to 'trade' perhaps | ali47fish
23/3/2016 12:25 | ex casella? Whats that? I've been Nick Rubens for around 12 years here on ADVFN. Any thoughts on VLK? A few PI sells atm, but with director buying and an institution adding, it could be risky to trade out at this time. | nick rubens
23/3/2016 11:52 | Are you ex Casella Nick ? | my retirement fund
23/3/2016 10:34 | The update wasn't as bad as the share price was suggesting. It's a case of being oversold, I reckon. The buying by Hawkins and Kestrel is anticipation of future orders and growth expected by them. That buying alone takes the oversold shares out of the market and hence it's difficult to buy now at that low share price level. There could be another institution in the backround that's mopping up any sells from small PI's that want out. | nick rubens
23/3/2016 10:12 | Well I called the positive price action from 12/2. So nice to see the positivity in price since this time. | bigdazzler
23/3/2016 10:07 | ali47fish, it's one of those conundrums where if something has to be explained to someone then ...it can't be explained.DYOR, is the best advice for you maybe. | dogwalker
23/3/2016 09:43 | can somebody please explain if the buy by hawkins and kestrel indicate something positive about future growth especaially as the update was not that good? the share price is up today on the back of this but i still cannot bring myself to buy as i am in loss! i would appreciate any comments | ali47fish
23/3/2016 09:20 | 23 March 2016 Vislink plc (the "Group") Director/PDMR Shareholding Vislink plc (the "Group"), the global software and technology business specialising in solutions for the live collection, delivery and playout automation of high quality video 'from scene to screen' for the broadcast and surveillance and public safety markets, was notified on 22 March 2016, that John Hawkins, Executive Chairman of the Group, purchased 360,086 ordinary shares of 2.5 pence each in the Group ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 27.75 pence per Ordinary Share. Following this transaction, Mr Hawkins is interested in 669,365 Ordinary Shares representing approximately 0.55 per cent of the issued share capital of the Group. | nick rubens
23/3/2016 09:08 | Institutional holder Kestrel Partners adding. Now above 6%. The director LTIP that we all dislike, only kicks in at 69p share price. Can worry about that should they manage to grow the business to merit that valuation. If we get some good surprise news on the orders upside then this is looking cheap IMO. As it is, it's not overly expensive so risk reward is ok for me at least. | nick rubens

22/3/2016 12:58 | Given debt levels a fund raising may be due. | zipstuck
22/3/2016 12:30 | Had quick look at results. imho train crash. High risks due to debts and never ending decline in perf. of hardware sector , as shown by lay offs. Confid. in bod = zero Conclusion Avoid due perceived excessive risks including debt levels. Since taking over the bod have made a complete and utter mess of it imo..... (This co. needs a new bod imo otherwise imo the shares are untouchable) Each to own view. I can understand that some may buy hoping for recovery. But imo hardware sector has been on never ending downward trend ( as I predicted long time ago). (imo the divi should not be paid. Imo the accounts cant support it) Fulltimeinvestors.co | smithie6
22/3/2016 10:00 | Nick I agree. In due course our resentment of the directors special self-enrichment scheme should wear off and a profit recovery this year could lead the share price much higher. | varies
22/3/2016 09:49 | Results are ok. Dividend is maintained. It's a case of looking forward to this financial year and see what they can do from here. PE around 9, Yield around 5.7% Where else can you see that on small caps (aside from NPT). It's a case of investing for the year ahead and the market will price them on what transpires as we go along. I'm holding and will add on any sign of progress or share price rise/demand. Might even get some director buys. | nick rubens
22/3/2016 08:39 | ITS ALL VERY QUITE OUT THERE. ???? | mckenzie one
19/3/2016 08:12 | it is possible a sharp run up to 30 before results. then sell | mckenzie one
18/3/2016 18:30 | Tradesmarter We have a double top. All indicators are at the top Results on 24th All markets are about to fall Dont Buy till after results | mckenzie one
11/3/2016 22:19 | been watching for a few weeks myself and agree 30p area looks like first hurdle to be taken out to call the bottom,(think we have reached that already though) was hoping to buy in around 25.5 myself......the rewards vs the risks look quite compelling..for now on the sidelines chancing my luck for a pullback....i see 15p upside vs 5p risk (but dont think itll fall below 25p now), so a compelling buy if i can get my desired entry.....for now id reckon 26p 50 day should be support and 41p 200 day resistance when it starts to motor higher....think ill join the party soon and add then paln to add more once 30p turns support..I believe the outlook is now bullish and that the bear case has now played out....but will check out the fundamentals as im looking to invest rather than trade this | tradesmarter
11/3/2016 18:19 | Nah...mac has been here a lot longer than three years. | 1fox1
10/3/2016 12:01 | Not sure what your seeing McKenzie, from my TA prospective, I can only see building from here, with very little retrace. This now starting a weekly upcycle, so I doubt the MM's will want to bring this down very far. I've set my targets after buying in recently and its not in the twenties, I plan to be selling in. I'm also talking short term time scale. | newforestlad
08/3/2016 08:27 | I have held vlk for years bought a few more the other week hoping they maintain divi So thanks for advice | risk1
08/3/2016 08:24 | The fool has been posting stuff like this on VLK for, at a guess, for 3 years to support his long positions, so beware. As always DYOR. | pj 1 |
