Note the £100 nominal is an average over those members.

For the record nominal value is GBP0.025 so £100 = 4000 shares.

100 members can request a resolution to be added to an AGM. Can they request a GM? I didn't believe they could.

We can go down the route of 100 shareholders with proof that they have the actual shareholdings and employing a solicitor to draft the EGM requisition and veryifying all the names and addresses etc can be also clearly verified by the registrar and I would be happy to join the 100 signatories.

However it will need someone with enough time on their hands to arrange all that. I am sure ShareSoc would help promote it and 100 is well within reach here. Does take a lot of 'herding' for want of a better phrase though.

I would certainly help to fund it but time demands are my weakness with all the events I already arrange.

Does anyone want to step forward as the Administrator and contact point and even better if we have a friendly solicitor on board ?

Smithie, just to point out the £100 is not as low as you might think, as it refers to the nominal value of the shares.

As an aside
The share price performance ( and use of the prev. VLK cash pile) shows the benefit imo of old fashioned share options at mkt price....with min. 3 yrs to exercise...( and imo with only gradual per year selling allowed)...

To tie in dir. bonuses to LONG TERM share price and co. perf.

( options/bonuses etc is a disaster for London listed cos.
.....an overall regulation is needed imo AND "a proposed standard options/bonuses deal".....ie. standardised)

That you can call an EGM with a request from 100 shareholders ( need to have over £100 in shares each imho. Easy)


(Poss. Resolns.
1. Cancel dirs. benefit schemes
2. Shareholder group to devise and propose a new scheme; then submit to vote.
3. Remove the MD
4. Remove head of renumeration committee

But I guess that Daviddosh has considered this possibility and decided against it ??

Imho shareholders shouldnt think too much about the 50p and 60p share price. Was Just a stupid bubble imo, should never have gone there with the company accounts.

Although the results were a little disappointing they did not contain a profit warning imo. Good luck with Hawkins. I don't think he's the only greedy bas*ard. Corporate Britain is full of people like him I'm afraid. You could always offer to decorate the offices though Simon :o) Someone like you would give him a bit of a jolt though ha ha.

I may even put pressure on the board myself now and warn them of a unfair prejudice action if they don't revisit their unfair share schemes.

RC. The interim results were as clear as mud.Thats why I like to consentrate
on Pebble Beach. Their sales will be £10m+ and their pbt will be £2m+ Put
them on a p/e ratio of 20 and they would be worth the 30p that you ridiculed
last week.

I would have thought a 50% fall in under three months would have caused some sort of reaction from the board who as yet remain silent. Strange considering we haven't had a profit warning.

Interestingly virtually all of the directors share purchases made since 2012 like mine are now also underwater! Perhaps they will put their hand in 'our pockets' and use some of the outrageous salaries they have pocketed at our expense to buy some more!

Strange price action with no reported trades.

Unless there is a seller in the background and the mms are taking the share price down until they find some buyers.
