Good luck in the meeting davidosh - really appreciate your efforts.

Holding tight to my shareholding for the time being.

I think all the shareholders are pretty much aligned in their views on the VCP. Show me a shareholder that has come out in support ? Bob Morton has been selling heavily so that is his way of supporting the directors and their plans. Most large shareholders that I have spoken to are in dialogue now but did not know about the scheme prior to the announcement.

I personally do not wish to see VCP schemes that are this generous appearing at every company in which I am a shareholder so I am taking a responsible view in trying to understand why it was introduced without shareholder consultation or approval.

ShareSoc are fully aware of this situation and ready to back shareholders if necessary following the Remcom meeting tomorrow.

PJ 1 stop being petty, we all have to take on board a certain level of trust between fellow share holders.

I think 1fox1 couldnt have been any fairer or transparent.

Shake hands and move on both of you, no good holding grudges.

FWIW I believe this Company has been 'For Sale' for a few years hence the BoD putting out its then ambitious £80m t/o/ £8m profit targets. It was like saying' look at what this Co can achieve come and buy us whilst so cheap. But they failed by some margin. How many long term investors bought in (and still held before these awards) on the belief the Co would hit these targets. They did not so in my opinion those PI's were duped. There was never any realistic chance of hitting those targets, it was all bluff. So Hawkin and the BoD failed on 2 accounts, no reasonable offers for the Co (maybe suitors were not hoodwinked), and failure to hit THEIR OWN targets.
Then for them the get out of jail card is played!

It stinks from head to toe imo, I sold out here because of the arrogant attitude towards PI's that runs through the Comapny, including the PR bride and Directors. It is well documented in previous posts some time ago

I'm long gone from here but have been following the latest developments with interest and have to say that I'm with davidosh all the way.

"The bone of contention was what could be done about it. That is where we differ. I don't believe you or private shareholders have enough clout to alter what the board do." That may be so, but the issue is that as owners of the business you should at least try. Previous posts along the lines of 'I don't care what they pay/reward themselves' are meat and drink to Directors who think they, rather than the shareholders, are entitled to all the spoils. Even if the current action fails, it is no bad thing to hold these guys to account.

PJ I'm sure you can appreciate that it's a little frustrating having one's credibility questioned. I find myself in a strange situation with Hawkins. I do believe he's done a good job since he came on board in 2011. At the same time anyone who's as greedy as him cannot be trusted. I don't normally set such a tight stop loss. If you look at the chart 55p looks a strong base from here.

1fox1....I appreciate your thoughts and 99% of emails are totally supportive of making a challenge against these awards even if some of the investors are now ex shareholders as they decided like you that they have lost trust in the BoD and particularly Hawkins. It is all a great shame.

Private shareholders do have a lot of clout and you will be surprised at who has read and will use the poll as a marker for investor discontent with the scheme. The larger shareholders know all about it too but have their own contact lines of communication.

1fox1. I do not gamble I invest. I have no idea how long you have held these for nor do I wish to question your strategy. However, please note I am totally debt free other than a small mortgage and owe no-one nothing else. Therefore you may conclude that I pay my debts on time.
My point simply is that your stop loss of 3% ish is more in line with a short term traders strategy. Astop loss of 3% on a spread of 4% for a long term trade would, imo, result in failure 99.9% of the time as you would be stopped out on small price movements. Good luck anyway.

Technical Flag developed on the chart I predict another 5p rise as a result short term.

Dont forget markets have memories.

Especially on a share which when moving can have a 4% spread. Caught out?

1fox1....I am confused...Why would you have a stop loss at 55p if you are a serious long term investor ? One 3% drop down and you are gone !

The fox has a point. I have a small business. If someone said to me I can increase the value of your business threefold in years. In order to do this he wanted twice the normal pay I'd say sure no problem. When can you start?

Decided to sell all the shares I had in both my pension and ISA. Really disappointed by all of this. Have made money on these so shouldn't moan but could have and should have been far much more. Pure greed by the BOD.

Looks like you're no longer a shareholder!! Bloody hypocrite. You must be praying the share price is going to drop. What were you saying about short term traders? Have a nice day... Onwards and upwards with a bit of luck. Especially since you've sold out.

I wouldn't personally listen to people like 1fox1 to be honest. As already suggested he will always be happy if the shares go up in the short term where as most people here are in for the long term.
