As I said yesterday I sold 60% of my holding and will probably hold the remaining 40% long long term.I see the problem as follows.
As people realize this could be a very long term hold more may well bite the bullet and sell at a loss and this could then drift as low as the 1.5p the unmentionable jbrn dribbles on about if it does I may well buy a few back. However if it does move up from here I feel many more will sell at the first positve price they can get and if this happens it is going to take a very long time to get much above 3.5p.As INGRID said 70% are now held tight so only 30% effect the day to day market and I do not see many small holders leaping at this for some while yet.If a large holder buys or sells that is of course a different matter but they may only do that for ther own reasons whith little concern for us .As you can see my trust in the management is no longer that great and I do not think I am alone here.If someone is buying I hope Its not the management or we may be in even more trouble.

I'm not straw clutching.. i am commenting on the trades. Deliberate buying to secure a quantity, not just a little retail pop.

That's not straw clutching.

there was a time when the MM's would have dropped .25p for 300K VTB sold on a Friday evening.

Think about it.

Nice of you to put it up for everyone Ingrid. However, what are you suggesting Ref. No.2...?

We all know that at the time I saw the meger document, I thought what a bunch of musketeers they were and said to much oposition how much they had upholstered thier pockets and en-riched themselves. Thats done and dusted now and its in thier interest, you will agree to see the price rise as high as possible now so they can sell some of that 70% into the market at some stage.

Not only envisaged growth of business that Unit.Net etc but they will then be able to fill thier pockets in every sense.

i've been looking at some FACTS and want to share some of them relating to the WTV takeover. this is the cost to VTB of the latest strategic move:

professional fees - 1,100,000
cash paid to WTV - 1,000,000
options - 3.25 * 3 musketeers = 9.75 * .035 (avg price at time) = 340,000
total - 2,440,000

not including (this from RNS) - "The Company's existing remuneration committee has therefore reviewed the achievements for the period from the start of the financial year through to 30 June 2004, and payments will be made, based upon the scheme's criteria, to the executive Directors on a pro rata basis."

so the FACTS tell us that 2.4million was spent on this deal, which amounts to no less than 6 months of revenues. VTB had 2.493 million in revenues in the first 6 months (wihtout counting WTV obviously - audited statutory, page 2)

some other FACTS worthy of note:

1. Interims are nowhere to be seen on VTB site; and neither is the merger document which contains all the lovely options/bonus information of the 3 musketeers. why not mention that the annual report for 2003 is not there either - who needs to know that management got 1.25 million in options, and ormondroyd paid himself 49K in bonus for running an unprofitable company for another year. and the 100% bonus they were able to earn; however rightly audited via their buddy giles english. how convenient. in that report you can also see how total management compensation for the year ran at roughly 10% of total turnover - not bad for a loss making company.

2. Holdings
58.2% of stock is owned by WTV shareholders
Interoute, Giles English, other large shareholders hold at least 10%
so you have at minimum 70% of stock tightly held, leaving great hope for the small shareholder.
