Still holding mine as cash held by the company is nearly twice the share price Got to be a few good deals to be had by VIR over the next few months you would think as other cash strapped companies get desperate for funding.

marab, don't you believe it, those who are holding from .25p will be thinking, seriously thinking of stop loss, and exiting before it hits .25p and those , of course who are serious investors and regret not selling higher (having bought at .25p) will simply stick through thick and thin. Those who start selling (and i think its already happening - sells @ .28p for example - want to get out before it hits .25p imo. And imo .25p is very possible. And after that support level is breached, while I think (hope) it is unlikely, if the market continues its volatility .20p may be tested. When I bought at .34p I knew there was going to be far greater downward pressure then upward momentum but that's what sentiment does. Anyway, if it does go down I will have to (use the rationale side of my brain) and average down. On the upside, if it hits .25p I believe it will be short lived and there will be a swift bounce back up to the .30p support level. All imho.

This has to be the worst investment I have made in two years !. :-(.

The placing at Summ at half the share price was a knock but I had traded that before for an excellent profit.

Oh why did I hang on here ?.

And with sells @.24p even further from a deal maybe my waters are wrong and I should stick to reading tea leaves. Funny why the MMs didn't choose today to smash the share price down, maybe tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!

Still feel that news of a fresh deal might be announced on/before results, no evidence in volume, just feeling it in my waters

sweepie2 - Looks you could be right about a buy order because I am still being quoted 0.315p for even small amounts.

1m sell gone through at 0.25p and I still can't get a buy quote for less than 0.315p with TDW. Anyone get a better quote?

News , we need news very badly here and over pinn. Investing in wine , whisky , watches , and art is more enjoyable than this lot , I am already 25% up on watches .

PPA marked up by 6.4% and steady buys on Viridas is keeping fairly conffident that there might be some news before PPA results and Viridas AGM

Folks take a look at MSS tomorrow. Rumours have it that there may be some deal between MSS and LDP in the pipeline. Peter Redmond appears to be keen on turning MSS around the same way he did for LDP. Couple of late buys on MSS indicate that we may be in for a significant rise over the next week similar to LDP if rumours are to be believed ...

Nice to see some of us read the accounts. Did we all notice how Mr Lee emphasised how the accounts were for the shambles of the period before he took over, and how wonderfully well he has done (not being sarcastic, Mr Lee's first two deals here have been awesome). I did note that Mr Wootliff got a £120,000 severance package which is a generous reward for shafting the old loyal share holders.

Best bit for me is why many of us are still buying -

Note the 'cash is particularly valuable' comment. VIR is trading close to a 50% discount to cash held by the company.

See that Viridas has made a new unquoted investment although they have decided not to announce it. In their results they state that all their current investments are either unquoted or on AIM therefore as all their known investments are on AIM(PPA,LDP & BRDY) it must mean that a new unknown unquoted investment has been made imo

Seem to pick the right days to add but this looks a false rise, no news at any other investment company, LDP down again, maybe investers had a look at VIR bank balance and realized that they are buying a pound for 50p. Lots of upside for the patient GLAH
