10/5/2012 11:45 | Marab last sentence lol, how ironic that would be PPA, followed that for years (never invested though), then lost the story after consolidation. Always seemed liked a dog to me, but then what do I know. | xcap
10/5/2012 11:06 | sweepie2 - I still think there is no reason for the share price falling here other than boredom, global markets selling off, and perhaps people selling due to their experiences on AIM last year. Last year stocks went down, people bought the bargains and the stocks went down further, people bought the bargains and the stocks went down further. Still think this is one of the better prospects on AIM though, trading at a big discount to NAV and with most of its assets in cash. Worse things get on the markets hopefully the better the deals done by VIR. share_shark - we are investing on AIM and we are still smiling - I think we need medical help :) xcap - good to see you here, and you're getting a better price than I did by about 30% so well done indeed. VIR is trading at about a 30% discount to cash alone with all the investments in for free. Should be interesting to see what the next investments are like, and if the PPA investment comes good we should see a return of interest here. You never know, the next investment might be in a graphite producer. | marab
10/5/2012 10:28 | Hi Marab, just bought in today. edit: @.34p edit: and no doubt watch it go down! lol | xcap
10/5/2012 10:00 | Yes the mini revival from the results is long gone, any idea (except for boredom) what is leading this decline. I guess the few million in the bank hasn't been spent on a few liquid lunches for Nick and cronies | sweepie2
09/5/2012 13:44 | Is there a doctor in the House ?. VIR's share price certainly needs one. LOL. | share_shark
09/5/2012 13:24 | marab. We can STill smile ??????////// :-) | share_shark
09/5/2012 13:17 | To the same address as Viridas, I hope they pay rent | sweepie2
09/5/2012 13:09 | share_shark - change of address, should be good for a 100% increase :) | marab
09/5/2012 13:06 | No one seen the BRADY RNS ????????? | share_shark
04/5/2012 22:30 | This board has been quiet recently! results out today confirm Vir still has a holding in LDP | ezlington
04/5/2012 12:44 | Big buy at BRDY, 500,000 @ 1.79p | sweepie2
04/5/2012 12:25 | Speculation on another BB that a new investment might be announced next week | sweepie2
04/5/2012 10:06 | I genuinely believe that we found the bottom in mid-April and those levels will never be seen again. | ya5x
04/5/2012 09:51 | Say you bought £1,000 at 0.68p, then bought another £1,000 at 0.35p, that would give an average of 0.463p, bringing the average buying price down by a third. That's what I have been doing as I believe the management here will deliver again. | marab
04/5/2012 09:45 | abbey8 - 3 choices really. Leave shares here for future news, sell and hold the cash for some future bargain that may arise (look back at 2011 graphs on AIM), sell here and put the money into something you think will do better. Worth looking at VIR again and deciding whether you would invest at these levels and there are few better looking prospects on AIM imo (all suggestions welcomed). Sometimes its better to average down but it all depends how much you put in here in the first place. There is nothing more frustrating though than buying a stock near the highs and watching the share price move up and down but never quite getting to your buying price. | marab
04/5/2012 09:26 | I am down 60% , bought at .68p , no other way than to stay here and pray for re rating . | abbey8
04/5/2012 08:49 | share_shark - totally agree with you about LDP. I'm down a bit here as well but looking to leave these for the longer term. A few good deals would make a big difference here. Good point about the lack of publicity too, you would have thought at the current levels VIR would be well worth tipping as a good potential punt. | marab
04/5/2012 08:40 | I am peeved indeed marab. Whilst LDP, which made oudles of money for me as I was one of the first there, is way OVERvalued and much hyped, there is virtually no news, that I can see about just how well VIR have done. Why not ?. If VIR have done so very well, why are the company not singing their praises from the roof tops, via the usual route of tips sheets and media reports. LOOK FIRST to your own shareholders,I say and not go gadding off, spending time and money elsehwhere on another BOD UNTIL your own company for its shareholders, UP the share price IMHO | share_shark
04/5/2012 08:11 | Was Nick at the helm when you bought your stake share_shark? If he was it can't have been for long. IMHO he hasn't put a foot wrong since he took over. He has made serious money on the investments he's overseen. More down to the previous BOD and a case of the market just not catching up with the story here. Hold tight and hopefully your investment will do well for you. | ya5x
04/5/2012 08:06 | Seeing as I was one of those who invested o.75p I am hardly pleased in the fall of the share price when other stocks, not as attractive, are flying!. Furthermore, I invested for my son aswel l. So their investments may have been noteworthy but MINE here, is certainly is not !. Prehaps NLee is spending too much time attending to the likes of PPA(he is on the board) and not enough on his own shareholders here. Sorry if I cloud the issue but I invested here to make money ......not lose it and if it is on peoples radar then he should make damn sure it is !. Right I will get me coat. Bye and rant over. | share_shark
04/5/2012 08:06 | IMO this is one of the best risk/ reward shares of the AIM. Nothing more to add! | bains123
04/5/2012 08:02 | In my humble opinion people should be loading up to the eyeballs here before word gets out. The warrants on PPA (and LDP), along with £3.2 million in cash definitely make this one of the most logical and safe bet 3 baggers on the market. There is nothing, apart from lack of punters, to stop this going over a penny over the next few weeks. Lets hope the press get hold of this because we need some publicity, although not before I've added a few more ;-) | ya5x
04/5/2012 08:02 | Investment in Ppa will have been well thought out ,we don't know what the future holds for Ppa and the broker has a target price of 24p for Ppa. | bronislav
04/5/2012 07:59 | gregpants - it does seem that people are looking at VIR's investment in PPA as a mistake, but even if it was, VIR only invested about 10% of its cash in PPA. Hardly a disaster even if the share price fell to zero which I very much doubt. Good time to pick up a few and just tuck away for the future. | marab |
