13/4/2017 08:35 | sleveen We have all known about the 60/40 split, including Malcy who still provides the rating that he does on this share. It makes perfect sense to compare 60/40 quarters rather than a 100% with a 60/40 as you advocate. We are just at the beginning of this journey of a cashflow positive VOG, following the painful share consolidation and already the trolls are all over the results which although mixed in terms of the Eneo contract and the 108 issues, are very exciting. How deanroberthunt can write with such conviction that Eneo will convert back to deisel defies me. There will now be firm metrics on the Eneo gas use to negotiate around and VOG will no doubt be taking a firm commercial line and, as with all such negotiations, the closer the contract termination date gets the more favourable the suppliers position. I added up at 70p this morning. This is 4 year investment opportunity not a 4 quarter! If it drops into the 60s I will add more. | ridicule
13/4/2017 08:34 | sleveen you dabbled at 38p yes? you sold out and the share price dropped to a 28p low, at the time it looked like you had it right but as ever you looked backwards, you didn't see the potential and with the share price now at circa 70p you still don't, did you get it right then? have you got it right now? will the share price be higher in the future or lower? you're standing to close to the trees sleveen, move back a bit and look at the bigger picture, your remit here is splitting hairs, mine is making money | fatnacker
13/4/2017 08:25 | no wonder we're called whinging poms | deanroberthunt

13/4/2017 08:23 | $8M well incident and 5 week delay to it has given people a reason to sell or be stopped. Cash position needs looking at possibly?Progress elsewhere is good however. | bones

13/4/2017 08:20 | Hi fellows Malcy blog on 6 April Malcy Blog today: I am just back from a trip to West Africa, Cameroon to be exact where I was fortunate to see the Victoria Oil & Gas operation in action and to visit Bomono and the Bowleven wells now mostly, part of VOG. Much more on that in due course but it is safe to say that I was most impressed with the whole set up. LOL 👏👏 | ytse
13/4/2017 08:20 | "LOL I've been commenting on the impact of the 60/40 split for 18 months and you know it." indeed. | fatnacker
13/4/2017 08:18 | No, I'm now in hope mode, so I'm ignorning the facts..... | deanroberthunt
13/4/2017 08:17 | it's like rain, y ain, on your wedding day..... it's like free advice when you're already made.... | deanroberthunt
13/4/2017 08:14 | irony alert deano Can you comment on the NET figures ie the figures that matter to VOG P&L and cash flow statements? Here's a clue: there going to be circa 30-40% lower even allowing for a few extra thermal gas consumers in Bonaberi. | sleveen
13/4/2017 08:13 | LOL I've been commenting on the impact of the 60/40 split for 18 months and you know it. Hence VOG's emphasis on GROSS figures. IMV that's misleading. If VOG are doing so well that should compare the same quarters YOY, not try to puff up the figures by comparing dissimilar quarters. Note VOG on give a cash position of $14.1m and not net debt figure. That's because IMV they have just drawn down $4m of the debt facility leaving circa $1m of facility. | sleveen
13/4/2017 08:04 | sleveen there's no need to point out the obvious, you're the only one it seems that wasn't aware of the impending 60/40 split | fatnacker
13/4/2017 08:02 | Note the emphasis on GROSS figures. Net figures to VOG are Q1 17 692 scuffs vs Q1 16 1131 scuffs down around 40%. Remember it's the NET figures that generate revenue to VOG not the GROSS figures. Hence the reason I point this FACT out to those that seem to have missed it. | sleveen |
