Someone buying out both gryn and is would be the ticket; I would probably accept 1.20. I don't think much less than that would get the many smaller holders to agree to it.

Re: Deal with Bowleven....
Temujiin

Quite a lot of info from the Bowleven link that Flyhigh posted. Of interest were these comments...

CEO - 'farming it out to someone who will help commercialism that resource base'

'working with a farm in to use existing infrastructure'

'pretty close to closure'

'talks about gas prices of $3/mcf (for their power generation plans I presume) and $9-$16/mcf, ''and goes on to say they'd be somewhere in between those'

(btw one of there drill only produced at 3.5mmcf/d)

All speculation but from the above it seems pretty clear BLVN were talking about VOG farming into Bonomo but I can't atm see the logic in that as we have our own gas, so why do a deal with them, how do we benefit?

I suppose it depends on the details, BLVN want help to commercialism their field and need to use our pipe infrastructure to get gas to industry. VOG also know the ropes on power generation. On their own BLVN's two wells are not very good to be honest in terms of production as one can only do 3.5mmcf/d, so that limits them maybe a 17MW power plant, not worth the effort imo. However if you add in our gas then a new 50 - 100 or even 200MW plant might be created, with future Bonomo gas as feedstock,

For our help, VOG might get a % of Bonomo, or cheap gas or payment for use of our infrastructure. What does seem very likely though, is that BLVN and VOG and starting to-operate for hopefully the benefit of both SH's

Plenty more upside to get back to where we were 20 months ago
Huge volume today, almost 3%

Any bid will only have to be at a price that the majority of shareholders are prepared to be paid out. However, as there are no really big players and a lot of angry long terms with big losses, any bidder may have to pay a fairly steep price, as things stand a pound or more.

Lets hope there is a bid as it will crystallise some of the value in VOG even if it does not get traction and succeed.

any bid would need to be north of the project cost and that's not including the 44/48 million currently being spent, roughly 200p would a starting point, if the two wells come in you can add to that substantially, anyway another fantastic day for us.

BLVN would not need to take the whole thing over - perhaps they put in 10mm for a 10% slice? They get revenue coming in and we get the drill costs pretty much completely de-risked.

Looks like people might have to bite the bullet and pay up to 50p today, doesn't look like weakening much I hope.

Having been here for quite a while and seen all the setbacks and dilution along the way I would hate VOG to get taken out at this stage. It's been a long slog and at long last we seem to be making good progress. I'm looking at £3-£4 within 12 months but a takeover would happen at a lot less. I really hope Foo doesn't sell out as there is a long way to recover on the SP

There is a large buy order being filled in the background imo you can sell 100k at a pop, once the order is filled they will let go of the reins, hardly anything in free float this will go into orbit IMHO.
