Investing isn't easy when you see virtues in a company and the share price heads in the opposite direction.
Being an investor is difficult at times and many people aren't cut out for it.
There were are few sellers this morning and market makers marked the price down to attract buyers and make their turn.
The price markdown attracted a few more sellers which wasn't helped by the chart looking rubbish.
Volume is light at less that 100K, so only £40K worth.
Investors have to balance risk vs opportunity, but in my eyes this looks cheap on a 2 to 3 year view, but what do I know. Mr Market has a view and currently it's different to mine.
As the saying goes 'If you don't know who you are, then the stock market is an expensive place to find out'.

Just watched investor meet. Worth watching Jerrys response to last questions. He is happy with results and fund investors he has met this week have been as well. Not least Slaters spending on more shares. The question definitely irritated him. They are hinting at possible acquisitions but intend to stay away from equity raise until share price is higher. Net debt coming down well allowing them enough leeway to acquire without equity. He stressed they will always be prudent.

Just covered in Investors Chronicle by Simon Thompson:

He concludes:
For the year ahead, house broker Cavendish expects adjusted operating profit margins to increase one percentage point to 8.5 per cent, which on 7 per cent higher revenue of £55mn could drive up operating profit 20 per cent to £4.7mn. Furthermore, estimated free cash flow of £6.1mn (2024) and £7.8mn (2025) is predicted to slash net debt from £13.7mn to £9.2mn (2024) and £1.9mn (2025). In other words, the £47mn market capitalisation company is on course to be almost debt free next year when it is forecast to deliver underlying operating profit of £6.1mn on revenue of £59.4mn.

The operational improvement in the business and balance sheet deleveraging were key bull points when I suggested buying the shares, at 30.5p (‘Investors are too cautious with this cash-generative company’, 26 September 2023). That’s still the case. Cavendish’s fair valuation of 68p a share is not unreasonable, representing a target forward price/earnings (PE) ratio of 10 for 2025. Buy.

Looking forward to the investor meets company call on Thursday.

Like the sales progress and product enhancements…..but will there be a game changer here or just more of the same?

I dont like the level of adjustments between the final results and the AOP and AEBITDA.

You're right basem! - Its the reality of AIM at the moment. Too many PIs either have taken money out of shares in pursuit of higher returns in the building society or from funds, like Downing Micro Cap who are closing down and returning money to investors.

And yet the situation in the UK is so bright for shares this year. Falling inflation, expectant lower interest rates, dirt cheap valuations and either companies being re-rated OR taken over at a premium, a high probability.

PIs will return, when the building society rates fall, but by then all the bargain shares (lowly rated profitable businesses, turnaround stocks like VLG etc) will be at much higher prices or been taken out by private equity.

You are right to be bullish here and load up while you can.
