Not on this share there isn't - take a look at BIKWIK charts....nothing of any note prior to the 30p-40p range but grant you that nothing moves in a straight line so it will as always be a jagged move northwards for VLS

Really glad that I followed my own gut instincts on Velocys and took up my open offer entitlement in full and applied for significantly more which I got. Surpassed by even more substantial buying in the open market around the placing price and below it.

Now significantly in profit I am actually going to leave where it is to target a further short term 40% to 50%.

I'll bet there are a few who blanked the Open Offer who are now badly regretting it.

Read the bulletin boards but above all else make your own mind up and stay the course if you firmly believe.

A genuine shareholder all along just trying to recoup his losses (successfully)

dyor is probably best advice.

The gains have only just started here IMO it should not have been down at 10p
or lower recently.Micheal Hintze was obviously helped to get that stake at a
reduced level but I also think he may be a serious funder of company as the
expansion plans rollout so on that basis should be seen as a major bonus.
I bought a decent chunk here at 9.8p and will hold them closely till some
true value builds back here.

A good article from BIOMASS Magazine

ATA sets goal for flights using sustainable fuels
By International Air Transport Association | March 01, 2018

The International Air Transport Association set out an aim for 1 billion passengers to fly on flights powered by a mix of jet fuel and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) by 2025. This aspiration was identified on the tenth anniversary of the first flight to blend sustainable aviation fuel and ordinary jet fuel.

On 24 February 2008, a Virgin Atlantic Boeing 747 flew from London to Amsterdam with sustainable aviation fuel in one of its engines. The flight demonstrated the viability of drop-in biofuels, which can be blended with traditional jet fuel, using existing airport infrastructure. A flight completely powered by sustainable fuel has the potential to reduce the carbon emissions of that flight by up to 80 percent.

“The momentum for sustainable aviation fuels is now unstoppable. From one flight in 2008, we passed the threshold of 100,000 flights in 2017, and we expect to hit one million flights during 2020. But that is still just a drop in the ocean compared to what we want to achieve. We want 1 billion passengers to have flown on a SAF-blend flight by 2025. That won’t be easy to achieve. We need governments to set a framework to incentivize production of SAF and ensure it is as attractive to produce as automotive biofuels,” said Alexandre de Juniac, IATA’s director general and CEO.

The push to increase uptake of SAF is being driven by the airline industry’s commitment to achieve carbon-neutral growth from 2020 and to cut net carbon emissions by 50 percent compared to 2005. A number of airlines, including Cathay Pacific, FedEx Express, JetBlue, Lufthansa, Qantas, and United, have made significant investments by forward-purchasing 1.5 billion gallons of SAF. Airports in Oslo, Stockholm, Brisbane and Los Angeles are already mixing SAF with the general fuel supply.

On the present uptake trajectory it is anticipated that half a billion passengers will have flown on a SAF-blend powered flight by 2025. But if governments, through effective policy, help the sustainable fuel industry to scale-up its production, it is possible that 1 billion passengers could experience an SAF flight by 2025. The steps needed to deliver this include:

- Allowing SAF to compete with automotive biofuels through equivalent or magnified incentives

- Loan guarantees and capital grants for production facilities

- Supporting SAF demonstration plants and supply chain research and development

- Harmonized transport and energy policies, coordinated with the involvement of agriculture and military departments.

Acknowledging that some sources of biofuels for land transport have been criticized for their environmental credentials, de Juniac emphasized strongly the determination of the industry to only use truly sustainable sources for its alternative fuels.

“The airline industry is clear, united and adamant that we will never use a sustainable fuel that upsets the ecological balance of the planet or depletes its natural resources,” he said.

I am not surprised that the share price is finally responding to the shock placing. It was always way too low and it had to come back. The volumes have picked up significantly and I hear all is going well at Natchez. RIN accreditation must be a hair's breadth away. That will cause the share price to continue to rise strongly.

That loose 500k lot is now shifted off the total of the ask, hence making the total bid/ask 447k v 123k so no wonder the uptrend is higher....and about time too!

Bests are 13.15p v 13.45p, as I type.

VLS starting to look very interesting including and perhaps even especially that basing pattern on the VLS chart

Yes I agree, VLS is definitely looking interesting. Looks interesting on daily, weekly and monthly candlestick charts, plus also on the coppock curve which is at rock bottom and looks at the bottom of a downswing.
