Vela holdings in BTL and Airportr alone look to be worth more than £5.5m. I think...

Not sure what the stake in Airportr is now worth. In 2016 there was a mention of £1,079,000 but that must be well up now after the latest round in October 2017 when Stobart put in £2m. Anyone any ideas?

Vela isn’t a tech company though, it’s essentially an investment fund. Those type of companies often trade at a discount to their nav....

Although, I think the current discount is probably too high, given both the rapidly increasing value of some of its assets, and the type of assets that they have invested in..


Presently, i’d agree that vela at it’s present level even offers a great way to get exposure to what I think will become some hugely valued companies

VELA is ridiculously under valued lesser Tech companies have M/Cap’s 10 - 12 times that of VELA’s this stock needs a serious rerate.

He originally thought bitcoin might reach as high as $40000. We’re not that far off it. If it does go anywhere near his new prediction, this could be astonishingly good news for vela’s new investment., since they’re going to be in the business of mining crypto currencies....

• Interbit will leave beta testing and be sold under commercial licensing. This will give BTL group the competitive advantage of being the first mover.
