Regarding this loan.
I am a shareholder here so this affects me more than most of you that post on here and
don't have an interest. Well apart from not liking the company or its management, and would like to see the company fail.

This loan with Burgen was not a bad deal at all. It filled a gap whereby we could get BP moving. I know most PI's don't like it as the share price has been destroyed by two words, Bergen and conversion. But even if they are converted we have 3 months to buy then back at the same price. If it is done As i explained in my last post, and AP has said he does not intend that burgen will be allowed to convert into shares. Well i think he will allow them to but will buy them back before they get the chance to go onto the open market.
Now even if T2 were to arrive today i would still use that facility as i have posted. The simple reason is we have paid for it so use it to our benefit. We can just
leave it in the bank and make some interest on it. Yes the share price would probably stayed depressed for longer than most would like, but as long as they are not allowed to be drip fed onto the market the share price will correct itself in time.
Just my own personal opinion.

AIM resource assets are migrating to Crypto in 2019 and many companies will be liquidated to release those assets from their present holders.

I thought i would re post this from yesterday as it may have been missed because of all the well informed post that followed it, lol.

I would like to point out that Vast have spent around $4.5m over the last few months on assets and paying of debt.
We have just taken out a short term loan of $1.5m that the market and its shareholders
Are in agreement about looks a bad move. But as long as AP does not convert it seems a good deal. it gets BP up and running in the time frame AP has set out. $15m a year FCF
will come from BP alone. I can see why the naysays don't like this loan as it gets the asset up and running on time and they do not want that do they.
So Bergen can convert the 20th of this months. But they can't sell one share as AP has a buy back clause at that same price for that 3 months. That would make the costs look
much cheaper. So when you look at it from a investors point of view, it would make sense to let them convert, take the second $1.5m when its due then buy back those shares with that money. That giving them another 3 months to finance buying back those shares at that price. Now the naysays would love that, give them more time to trash the company. But it would make financial sense for shareholders.
It would also give us 4 months longer to getting these assets into production.
I don't know if AP could RNS these facts to the market so they know what he planes to do, thats if this is his plan. As a shareholder with no intention of selling anytime soon i would be happy for him to go down this route. The value will be shown
in the share price sooner or later.
We need to look at this loan for what it is,Ignore the market for a few months and let the naysays do what they do.

Yes there are a lot of ill informed posters on here that is for sure.
But you also get liars that made 80,000 pounds, lol,and post how bad the management were then and now?. So AP buys shares again,POSITIVE? well some say no why did he not buy more. Some say its a bad sign. The same people that before he bought was asking why is he not buying.

You can turn anything into a negative that is easy.
Take brexit, we import a massive amount more from the EU than they take from us.
So lets change that fact to turn it negative. But the amount we export to the EU is 50% of our trade, where theirs is only 30% of there trade to us.So every pound we sell to them they sell one pound 50 to us, who has the best deal?
That fact is also misleading as we are not allowed to trade with other countries where we could get the same thing cheaper for a start. Then take the cost of having to pay them a fee every year to be a member.
I know this logic will go strait over some of your heads.

I bought a few more million.

The time to buy Vast is when it's weak and struggling, history always shows it will change quickly. Director buy today for 5 million so at least one of them agrees

I'm afraid the thread is full of idiots. The LSE thread used to be better. When the price is low the people are generally helpful, informative and friendly. But as soon as the price jumps you get the footlosers of the world...

Massive volume here again today with the share price slipping further away. Not unexpected after getting involved with Bergen. The long term chart is not a pretty picture.

Exactly KenMitch. How can you have a quality board with ignoramos people swearing and ranting all the time. If they had some self control in what they post, they may gain and learn some self control in their investments choices.

Footloose.

There are plenty of very successful AIM shares. E.g the multibaggers like Boo HOO, ASOS, Fevertree, Blue Prism and many more.

Not all AIM investors choose to invest in companies like VAST that are at high risk of going bust and where the quality of the posts on bbs like this one also lack quality. Often quality of ADVFN posts is a very good guide to the quality of the Company being posted about! Rubbish posts = rubbish company and quality posts = quality company. It really is a very good guide!

If losing on shares like Vast why not widen investment interest to some of the good quality shares on AIM instead?
