Of course VAST haven't said how much of the asset is going to be sold for the funding.

No wonder the funding will be at the asset level, VAST have $8m in costs to fund before a profit is made, which the investors would suffer if they had a circa 30% of shares.

Whereas the investors make a profit from the project sales, without having to fund VAST's G&A costs.

2 x delayed buys of 9,500,000 each at 43p....could be a rollover - but certainly shows commitment from someone!

No bar to upward rerate, and much news very imminent. Today's RNS was a lovely surprise.

The huge dilution that was coming but is now no more is HUGE news and has been weighing VERY heavy on the share price of late IMHO

IF they have released this news to 'take the brakes off' so that the BP Licence news can be fully and fairly digested this week they will have played a blinder IMHO

Regards
IHNC

Now for the carlibaba drilling results and the BP licence! :) A few more of these intra-day releases will catch the traders off guard.

All sounds very positive to have the support of the new investors at an asset level and are keen on increasing production and shareholder value.

Oh I know but I think the BP news will have the biggest impact on the share price

I was suggesting that they may have made a rod for their own back by reducing the timescale of the licence so significantly

All IMHO

ihnc,

There's more than that happening here in the short term though. As well as expecting the BP licence to be granted in the very short term, the company also expects to process 15,000tpm in September at Manaila a hugh improvement in performance. Also drilling results at Carlibaba due in September and also the two competing financial proposals on the table, one of these to complete short term too according to the company. So lots and lots going on.

Regards,
Ed.

And if it doesn't arrive this week ? :(

I think they took one hell of a risk with the difference between the 2 RNS. First one 'BP Licence by the end of the year' to the second one 'End of September'

Just confirmation of licence from rom gov in next few days and the 10 million funding are the last two pieces in the jigsaw to let this fly
