01/8/2017 14:36 | ludicrous price...topped up again | temmujin
01/8/2017 12:31 | Laptop I first took an interest on VAST when it was still AFCR in around 2010. Then the main prize being PP with just the faintest hope they might get back Marange, the faintest hope. Edgin the licence for BP is very important to say the least as BP is the big prize and without it mining can't commence there while all the time it is costing to maintain the mine. | yorgi
01/8/2017 10:35 | We don't know that for a fact | turbotrader2
01/8/2017 09:51 | lol! Its not all about the mining licence, Jayzus! Summary of Q2 2017 Production: -- 41% increase in tonnes of ore mined from Q1 2017 to 27,707 dry tonnes (Q1 2017: 19,711 dry tonnes*) -- 54% increase in tonnes of ore milled from Q1 2017 to 28,082 dry tonnes (Q1 2017: 18,262 dry tonnes*) -- 57% increase in copper concentrate produced from Q1 2017 to 828 dry tonnes (Q1 2017: 526 dry tonnes) -- Copper concentrate grade maintained above 18% threshold at 18.2% (Q1 2017: 18.8%) -- 19% increase in zinc concentrate produced from Q1 2017 to 157 dry tonnes (Q1 2017: 132 dry tonnes) -- 51% increase in zinc concentrate grade from Q1 2017 to 39.8% (Q1 2017: 26.3%) -- Inaugural concentrate production from test phase of the Knelson Concentrator extracting a pyrite concentrate containing gold credits - 5 dry tonnes at a grade of 45g/t produced since commissioning on 25 April 2017 Pickstone-Peerless Production Summary (commissioned on 20 August 2015, Vast ownership 25%): Production at Pickstone-Peerless has recovered from the slowdown in open-pit mining operations occasioned by the high rainfall experienced during Q1 2017. A return to mining higher grade areas in the open-pit has also facilitated an increase in production over the prior quarter. -- 33% increase in tonnes of ore mined from Q1 2017 to 68,659 tonnes (Q1 2017: 51,660 tonnes) -- 15% increase in tonnes of ore milled from Q1 2017 to 58,923 tonnes (Q1 2017: 51,102 tonnes) -- 36% increase in gold production from Q1 2017 to 4,037 ounces (Q1 2017: 2,974 ounces) Does any of the above make up the list of disappointments? Increasing production and grade at a time of strong Cu and Zn prices. Are you guys just here punting on the licence award for one of their assets? Anyone selling now is selling at a time when VAST has never been operationally stronger than it is currently. Zimbabwe is no longer a major feature for the company but the Romanian production will be highly significant given the £13m cap. No bloody wonder that the new cornerstone investor is taking these on the cheap some 35% premium to the current share price. Regards, Ed. | edgein
01/8/2017 08:47 | Time will tell turbo, aim is crazy don't forget. Plus there are a lot of traders in VAST. They will keep sellingvand buying back cheaper to accumulate shares which is been what happen since 0.60p. Don't like sounding negative about VAST as i really did believe in the company. But after so maby disappointments its difficult to stay positive. How long have you been in yorgi? I know we have chatted for a few years here on and off right back to the crede days. | laptop15
01/8/2017 08:32 | Will this flow fall EVER stop? !! | oakville
01/8/2017 07:59 | Some would have said that one would not have been able to buy at 0.3p a few weeks ago ! | yorgi
31/7/2017 22:42 | You won't get it - sorry | turbotrader2
31/7/2017 18:25 | Agreed yorgi the licence would completely change and transform Vast. With currently operations not being able to produce enough tonnes to be profitable only another open pit or another mill can help get over the 20,000 tons per month to be profitable at manaila. For this more funds are needed, possibly another $20 mill on top of JV for the mill anyway. I will buy back if i get a chance to buy in the low 20s it would be worth the risk at that level imo. | laptop15
31/7/2017 18:16 | Laptop3 months?I was told the detail of the strategic investor would be released in the near term! | turbotrader2
31/7/2017 17:09 | I can quite understand Laptop. The only thing I can see changing the mood is the licence if that drops on the mat that then things could change sharply. If ! | yorgi
31/7/2017 16:52 | Sold out myself last week yorgi after holding for a long time....little news flow left for the next 3 months to help the share price and what we have had has been a major disappointment unfortunately. Might buy back In but only when low 0.20s as worth the risk at that price. Good luck all shareholders | laptop15
31/7/2017 15:27 | SP is hardly encouraging to say the least sadly. | yorgi
28/7/2017 16:51 | Without the licence I don't see any large gain from here but if the licence suddenly appears then it is a completely different matter I would strongly expect :-) | yorgi
28/7/2017 16:49 | All the time it is costing us to maintain the mine as well. | yorgi
28/7/2017 16:48 | The inability to have secured that licence by now has been a huge disappointment. | yorgi
28/7/2017 16:41 | The conference call clearly didn't reassure very much either. | yorgi
28/7/2017 16:32 | Fair comment Ian ! | yorgi
28/7/2017 08:50 | Am I missing something.... all these % increases are great and tell a story that all is heading in the right direction... But, where are the figures? What is the revenue? Are we making profit? Vague is not the word...! | ianio5691
28/7/2017 08:22 | Everyone enjoy reading that? I enjoyed that one almost as much as the recent PREM release. Folks can buy in cheaper than the current proposed 29.9% investor! Mine performance improved right across the board in Romania and Zim and plenty of news coming soon too on drilling results, feasibility study and potentially the long anticipated licence award. Unbelievable that this one is priced in the teens, should be closer to 1p. I guess if there weren't so many oversold miners around we wouldn't get opportunities like this. Regards, Ed. | edgein
28/7/2017 00:33 | today is the day | temmujin
27/7/2017 21:46 | been told results tomoro...could be massive day for VAST | temmujin |
