01/10/2007 11:07 | I made a small CFD at £1.50 Friday which I closed out at £1.56 when it started going down.If £1.50 goes a pound could be in sight but that really is ridiculous to talk in such terms.this is a quality company. | markycrispy
01/10/2007 10:24 | Hello markycrispy Are you back in this or are you waiting for a clear indication that the bottom has been reached. I am nursing a big loss on this one and every day I say I will not sell now because that would be getting out at the bottom. Then it goes down some more. We are now on about 4x next years earnings. How silly is that. | mikeelkin
01/10/2007 08:56 | We did see £1.60 as predicted - just not for very long ! | markycrispy

28/9/2007 22:08 | A very impressive bear raid, but has this go something terminal? | father o toole
28/9/2007 19:48 | i have spoken to the company today to ask them their view of this share price. Their reply is , quote - "The share price has been suffering from a bear raid which is too easy on a stock with our liquidity metrics, but at some point we would hope rationality will prevail. We do not have any more news for the market at this time" | oohrogerpalmer
28/9/2007 15:35 | This can't be over a 10 Mill cash flow shortfall. They could have borrowed it from the Bank of England like NRK and not had this level of fall. There is something very very serious going on in the background that the MM's are obviously privvy to and were not. Even taking into account negative market sentiment there is no obvious justification for this drop over the last 2 months. Time will tell i suppose ???? | oohrogerpalmer
27/9/2007 20:14 | current sentiment, caram? | huntie2
27/9/2007 13:38 | I really don't think they have a cash flow "problem". A company in this growth stage has negative cash flow because of the spend on winning new contracts. These then take time to throw off cash. They have this growth financed properly, they are growing sales earnings and profits. At some point these contracts will be larger than their growth of new contract wins and they will be highlt cash generative. The question is when? Fact is at this price investors have forgotten this future and seem entirely focused on short term cash flow, but I cannot understand why- what am I missing? | caram
25/9/2007 17:48 | Looks like some over-excited brokers in the city peddled this up to a crazy valuation without checking the balance sheet. Interest on debt payments and cash flow problems, delays signing contracts etc. Very risky investing in this. | wipo1
25/9/2007 17:32 | Know nothing about this company, but reading the results gives a sense of confusion, and the market will always smack the share price until some sort of clarity is provided. | rochdae
25/9/2007 14:05 | Is this true about the dropping of below £1 that simon set out? surely not? | jimelson
25/9/2007 13:56 | All credit to Simon Callwell (EK). He called the share price perfectly. And I completely misread it. on the otherhand it is a great shame. This is a solid business, which will produce good cash flows once growth slows down. The company has NO financial problems, witnessed by the fact that they have have a new £100m facility and easily work within that. The auditors have no going concern issues. The business is booming. In the telecoms arena it is one of the most respected companies. In the financial arena it has been misunderstood. There is no gross mal practice here. Everything is above board and according to normal standard accoutning practices. I guess at this level someone should persuade the management to go private. There can't be much incentive for the employees. They all work very hard and there ESOP plan must be completely under the water. I see Simon Hargreaves has gone. I am sure he will not be the last, unless they do take it private and give the employees a really nice slice of the action. Ah well.....Taught me an expensive lesson. | jaydeee
25/9/2007 13:55 | Anyone think these are a good punt? was looking at them at £2.35 and can't believe they have dropped this much. | kevpreston
25/9/2007 12:08 | If that is you EK , could you arrange for Cantor to give away your diaries again , as long as you are still dictating them that is, the last one made great toilet reading, taking care not to fall off with laughter at its irreverence. | holts
25/9/2007 12:05 | Sorry 205 should be 20% | caram
25/9/2007 12:04 | Am i right in thinking that VAN would be on a forward PE of about 3 to 4 at 100p and is still growing revenues and earnings at 205 or so? That seems unlikely Simon. Especially since the projects they have signed are starting to throw off cash. If I was short I would be thinking about covering, after all this doesn't seem to be a company going bust or losing money - in fact quite the reverse... | caram
25/9/2007 09:54 | Simon Well done you have balls of steel, another great call. | father o toole |
