Value and Indexed Property Income Trust PLC (the Company)
Appointment of Non-executive Director
The Board of the Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Lorraine Reader as an independent Non-executive Director, with effect from 1 August 2024.
Lorraine is a Partner and head of the London real estate team at legal firm DLA Piper UK LLP.
John Kay, Chairman of the Company said, "The Directors are delighted that Lorraine has accepted a position on the Board of Value and Indexed Property Income Trust PLC. Her experience dealing with all aspects of commercial property transactions, including investment, development, real estate finance and landlord and tenant matters, will prove invaluable and will add to the Board's commercial property expertise".
Lorraine will also be appointed to the Company's Audit and Management Engagement and Nomination Committees. She will stand for election by Shareholders at the Annual General Meeting to be held in 2025.
As at the date of this announcement, Lorraine Reader holds 1,300 Ordinary Shares in the Company.
There are no other disclosures required to be made pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13R.
