I believe the last cashflow showed £350k cost spend, but may have changed but at £3mn upfront payment for e.g. is circa 9 years of cover but obviously things are changing at rapid speed at VAL as they expand.Bring in a 201 down payment of just £1mn and the costs at this current spend are 3 years covered so no placing required.

Would 5-10 million sound about right?

That depends on their negotiation and what they are prepared to give away. Ideally you want a sufficient down-payment to cover your cash flow for say 2 years to ensure the rest of your portfolio progresses whilst maintaining a majority share in 201 if a JV would give that

Well done nick slater on your investment. As Graham states in the intelligent investor. Follow the money. Nicks knowledge in valirx is very good and he has sold at what he believes is a good value. Obviously will influence other investors not to buy. But anyway dyor.

Hi Nick, your outlining of your reason for selling is justified & appreciated - there was not any imperative on you to do this. Understand you wanting to rebalance your portfolio & lock in some good profit. As you say, there was no lack of takers for your shares which is good. Maybe soon we'll be seeing another TR-1 from a new substantial holder.. Like you I'm hopeful and pretty confident of being a holder until VAL shares are well over the £1 level..GLA
