20/2/2019 19:28 | That says to me, sorry we haven't done anything for years but it was Kononov's fault cause he spent some money 3 months ago. I just hope they get a nomad and keep this listed. | gaffer73
20/2/2019 18:53 | Sick and tired of listening to the current board keep going on about the current working capital position of the company. I’m glad we are currently suspended otherwise the tone (again) of todays rns would have knocked down the share price even further. Can’t wait until Friday to confirm the current bod have been ousted. | takeachance1
20/2/2019 18:52 | They probably have already in place a strategy for funding if funding already not in place, which imo Adler do not want to disclose before egm. Im sure they will announce as soon funding and details of the new nomad once they get their seats. GLA. | takeachance1
20/2/2019 18:32 | RNS out, board not attending EGM so results already gauranteed. Circular to be posted on the company website but still not up yet! Will make interesting reading I hope... If as the current RNS states there is no mention of how we are going to fund ourselves in near term in the circular, this needs to be confirmed by new board ASAP | darren81
20/2/2019 10:47 | Let's hope darren they have sorted out long term funding for the company or the likes of SD will not move forward without it,working capital is the main issue here.imo | martyn9
20/2/2019 09:17 | The deadline has now passed for all votes held in nominee accounts to reach the Cyprus office (11am local time today). The board/Kononov/Petrac Lets hope there are no shenanigans between now and then for the current board - surely there'd be repercussions if they did anything that would impact share price given they are privy to this info tho... I hope the new lot will release a detailed plan on Friday on the future strategy of the company and will confirm a new nomad has been found -this should take us back over £1. We need some good news here on drilling at SD to really get the share price to where it actually should be - i.e. £6+ (it really should be much more) | darren81
18/2/2019 12:39 | Second that lalria. | martyn9
18/2/2019 12:33 | lets hope this time next week we are in a much better place. | lalria
18/2/2019 08:07 | I don't see any possibility, given their recent behaviour, that the current BODs will leave ahead of time. Not much longer to wait now though, in 4 days time the EGM will finally be underway and we should then have a new BOD and a new strategy. It would've been nice to hear what that was before we voted but its probable their hands were tied. It doesn't make much difference now for most (aside for peace of mind), given voting has closed for shares held in nominee accounts. As such, a detailed RNS post EGM stating future strategy / debunking the current BODs recent claims will suffice for me. | darren81
15/2/2019 16:03 | I think there is still a chance the board will jump instead of being pushed in the hope it will save at least some of their reputation. They must have a very good idea how the vote is going to be. I agree there must be a new nomad and finance waiting in the wings. In my view this has been very carefully planned and wouldn't at all be surprised if money doesn't miraculously reappear. Maybe even a bit of a divi to sweeten things and send the share price on. | chavitravi2
15/2/2019 12:14 | I would be very surprised if the new lot did not already have another Nomad lined up. I'd say they strung Allenby along so that the contrived scenario of the current board that we could be delisted (as they set the EGM so far in advance) did not work. Allenby know by the fact the new board are not responding to these mysterious "conditions" that they don't care if they resign. They've served their purpose by staying long enough so that we're not delisted. They jumped before being pushed, pity the current board haven't done the same! Instead they have ensured the company share price has been decimated and finally suspended. In a week's time we will hopefully have a new board and a new strategy - and hopefully (finally) see some return on our investment!!! | darren81
15/2/2019 11:43 | I think in reality Shrager and Dyachenko lost the Company when they brought Kononov in to save it from Barsky. Even if they did win the vote next week, Kon isn't going to give up the Russian operations, so all the Board will end up with is a dead, penniless Cyprus holding company (even if Allenby miraculously returns after the EGM - if Kon loses somehow). If there is any hope left for shareholders it's probably with Kononov at this point - he has all the power and the money. There might be enough time left to engage another Nomad, but yesterday's announcement did reduce the chances somewhat. I guess it would be in Kon's interest at the very least to bring the company back from the brink to prove the Board wrong (and heap disgrace on them) after they have so spectacularly ruined his international reputation. I would assume Kononov has already voted - maybe that's why Allenby threw in the towel yesterday. | amargosa
15/2/2019 11:25 | If you look into the proposed directors they have a proven long term record of raising funds and being in previous director roles. So fingers crossed they can sort the Nomad out in time. | lalria
15/2/2019 11:11 | So the latest threat from the Board (having carried out their Nomad threat) is third party finance will not materialize if they are voted out. They must reaĺly believe there is a chance of winning the vote, otherwise why keep the pressure up? To me they must be looking to try to void Kon's vote somehow and rely on the rest of the voting to save them. So what happens IF they are booted out and it turns out the situation is not as bad as painted - surely these guys should pay a hefty price for destroying the company's standing? If true, of course. | amargosa
15/2/2019 10:42 | From another perspective why would a new set of directors take up positions in a company fully aware it was heading for bankruptcy? | martyn9
15/2/2019 09:46 | Agreed chav, even taking into account of it's old condition, imo the survival of this company is down to long term funding for existing production and future SD propects.I would have thought some kind of plan has been worked out in relation to that? if not were stuffed. | martyn9
15/2/2019 09:38 | Let's face it the refinery alone is worth much more than the mcap. | chavitravi2
14/2/2019 20:18 | I hope not gaffer time will tell not long left for the egm. Let's hope that all this corporate action between the 2 parties means they see value in it as a going concern | lalria
14/2/2019 16:58 | That was a badly timed buy at 11.41. I think this is the end now I'm afraid chaps. | gaffer73
14/2/2019 16:18 | It wouldn't suprise me if money doesnt miraculously reappear in one way or another. I dont think this takeover of management would be if all wasnt carefully planned. I think they have a nomad and finance in place already for a flying start. | chavitravi2
14/2/2019 16:06 | I think mr kov needs to announce news or circulate news that if the resolutions are passed they have a new nomad ready and also that finance talks are being worked on also | lalria
14/2/2019 14:26 | Allenby + duty of care = made me laugh :-) | darren81 |
