Hi gaffer. Of course they will hit oil, South Dagi is an old Soviet-era asset. However it is clearly not low-hanging fruit.....otherwise it would have been developed years ago. I really can't understand why a 2000m TD well would take so long when SSK and Deutag were drilling 3000m wells in less than 10 days. Maybe difficult geology? It's remote location certainly doesn't help. 400km trucking to the refinery? That's very expensive.

Even with the sells this has held up well so far today. I'm waiting to see what happens as I think my top up will be able to be done slightly cheaper over the next few days as long as no news comes out.
