A bright tick up bodes well for today, the latest Federal Reserve rate hike laugh-in.

I expect many commodities to rally on a tepid meeting conclusion that no rate hike this month and the outlook remains mixed and watchful so suggesting the farce of more rises this year is revealed.

Oil certainly needs OPEC to reaffirm their cuts when they meet later this month, all important whatever our own company progress is.

I can't make it but would ask you say that the one remaining gripe is they are not expansive enough in their rns and there is in the opinion of many they lose opportunity for good PR. Quote the (we see no reason) one lost that knock back the price instead of advancing it and it annoyed many. I don't think that would hurt aspecially has Allenby don't seem to be doing their job in our view which may be worth a mention.
Regards, Chavi.

I echo pwilk's comments.

Our BoD should receive our encouragement for both a refreshing change in communication and the positivity in all the actions and intentions going forward as so far announced.

The resultant appreciation in share price and company value is clearly merited and must help all concerned appreciate this is the way forward with the capital reduction programme and aim to improve our institutional investor base as the desired goals.

If we have more news before next week then all the better! A good time to be a long Urals Energy investor on all metrics as far as I can tell. Here's to double figures before any consolidation!

Well done calmtrader. I share LALRIA's thoughts.

If attending I would simply ask what their aspirations are in the next (say) 12months and to say 'keep up the good work'. Your share-holders are a lot happier now and not just because of the share price. It's simply the news flow (and encouraging news low at that) and that management are steadily leaving no stone unturned with respect to margins/efficiency and PR.

Thanks again! :-)

Well done Calm on getting a meeting from these guys after years of trying to avoid face to face contact they are finally beginning to open up. I would love to come, but I'm not going to as I've been to a few investor meetings in the past with other companies and have found that they are unable to give any further informaion that is not in the public domain.

Now what I do like is that they have agreed to the meeting next week as that speaks volumes to me as I take the view that we will get news prior to your meeting with them so information will be in the public domain so fingers crossed guys maybe we get that broker note prior to the meeting.

Well done again mate that's really good news.

Very good of you Calm. Sadly I'm in darkest s-w France so despite keenness to pay them a visit I am unable to make it.

Of course all feedback will be appreciated mate. From what Moggy is saying they should be more amenable now....

Topicel - I have heard that Allenby will publish a broker note at some point soon (sorry don't have a date or any further info).

I suspect Ural's management have been paying Allenby far less over the last few years given cost cutting and have therefore not been entitled to any notes or communication. Indeed Ural's ceased their marketing relationship with Abchurch a few years back.

This stance may have been reversed by Urals management this year as Allenby have recently updated their client summary for Ural's on their website and the aforementioned broker note which we should see later this year is the first note in 3/4 years.

I'm in agreement that Allenby's communication is horrendous - they seem to be very picky about who they and what they reply to - it doesn't paint the company in a good light and this should be addressed by management (I will make sure I voice my concern over this too directly to Ural's management).

Finally I think we are due results from Komi drilling imminently - hopefully if these are positive and help ratify/increase Komi reserves/potential we may well see a raft of new investors coming on-board.

I've yet to even get an acknowledgment from Allenby when I've written to them...

Moggy, are the board aware that they do sweet fa for their corn? Presumably UEN pay them to do something? Or is it again a case of the BoD are happy that this sits under the radar until they get their consolidation and capital restructuring voted through?

All perfectly timed for June drill results and of course a nice inflow of cash from that month's tanker shipment when many might still be thinking we only ship in October?

Twice yearly cash flow at better than 40% premium on last year and increased production and reserves about to be increased and confirmed P2...and then Allenby speak?

I'm thinking of liquidating my gold holdings and plunging in more with UEN. Even if only traders. Only a measly £5k but it all helps. I'll do some calcs.
