18/5/2018 15:11 | The increased offer being paid now by our buyer...this is going to pop ! Somebody wants those shares and wants them in a hurry ! | doughty
18/5/2018 14:58 | The share price doubled in four weeks when it peaked at 4.05p...with I reckon 170m shares traded in the last six weeks. So if there is a buyer for each seller then 85m shares changed hands. Thats 47% of the shares held by others (184m )....gone into new ownership. To churn these shares again the price will have to significantly rise IMHO. Today's buying was quite determined...could it be institutional ?....am just speculating as I wind down to a sunny weekend. | doughty
18/5/2018 14:42 | moormoney.... Just demand for the shares ?...its a great story and the shares are tightly held. Wick is just around the corner...blink and you could miss out. | doughty
18/5/2018 14:38 | MMs have been sneakily timing rises and trades today and lots of buys are in the sell column....so defo many more buys than sells beyond what's declared...and with a lack of real sells they must be under pressure for stock right now...upping the offer to try and put off buyers....IMHO | doughty
18/5/2018 14:37 | Very good day here I’m pleased I have a few. I wonder what’s exciting the market? News next week maybe or just more people becoming aware of a stonking opportunity! | moormoney
18/5/2018 14:34 | Our big bull Stark is very quiet! | ohsod1t
18/5/2018 14:33 | Someone appears to be building themselves a stake here this afternoon ! After an intraweek dip of 0.5p we are back where we started on Monday morning. Onwards and upwards ! | doughty
18/5/2018 14:33 | 3.5p on the offer now, bodes well for next week | tburns
18/5/2018 14:29 | The jaba, I have. I was stating what Steve mentioned in the last Vox report about the £3m that was all. | euclid5
18/5/2018 14:25 | 6 x 100k buys in the last 20 mins, defo ticking up further into the close | tburns
18/5/2018 14:21 | EuclidYou really need to do your research a bit better. Looks like there is a rush for people getting in looking at the trades. | thejaba
18/5/2018 14:20 | The loan notes are not just for Wick. "This will be a useful facility over the coming weeks and months as the Company expects to become increasingly active, principally through its participation in the drilling of the Wick well in Q3 this year; which although fully funded from existing cash resources allows flexibility towards over runs." | sull75
18/5/2018 14:16 | $9m? £3m loan for cost over runs on Wick, as reported by Steve Staley in last Vox report So NA asset & Sarawack assets will need funding | euclid5
18/5/2018 14:01 | They have a cash and loan availability of around $9m...... | sja123
18/5/2018 13:50 | Are they funded for the N Africa asset? | euclid5
18/5/2018 13:48 | Indeed we are doughty.... Dr Staley is a very reassuring CEO to have imo.....he's very methodical, won't rush anything and will do everything he can to get it right....also very experienced... It's also no small thing that when the company was formed, they decided to go for a full listing....rare....a He behaves impeccably in the interviews he gives....despite Justin trying to get him to overstep the mark....he just plays a straight bat.. Buying UPL was one of the easier investment decisions to make for me and I am encouraged by the way it's now unfolding... All IMO etc | sja123

18/5/2018 13:39 | sja...I think we are saying the same thing ! | doughty
18/5/2018 13:37 | Sarawak could be huge for UPL...if my understanding is correct then we...together with Brooke...have a monopoly on assessing and pursuing hydrocarbon assets...of which there are numerous...both those known about and those yet to be discovered. Don't underestimate Shell's positive comments. And UPL and Brooke have been talking already for some time so we could be quite advanced with where they are wanting to go. Steve Staley said in the podcast that it might be several months before there may be further news on Sarawak. I take that as a good thing in that the longer it takes the more diligent the research and the more likely we get a comprehensive and positive roadmap for the future in Sarawak. Before Sarawak we have Wick to provide some excitement ( its Q3 in 6 weeks time !)...possibly north Africa and I still like to believe something left field thrown in for good measure. With everything being price sensitive we will only know when it is announced. The cards are being played very close to the chest. So...I really do believe that this is a unique and exciting opportunity. Ramp over ! | doughty |
