oilbuy - And I still think its a buy based on the offer news. However one cannot hide the disappointment at the shenanigans of the markets that has led to all who bought on the offer news and still holding being out of pocket. Its no coincidence that 100 million warrants have all been exercised within two weeks of the offer news.

Down again. With 100 million warrants to sell and in the absence of further bid news the MM have to continually lower the price to get PIs to bite so the warrant holders at prices as low as 0.4p can offload.

I will apologize if I get my info wrong. Anyway remember when ICON said they had a million pounds order, that turned out to be a blatant lie. How many shares did they convert based on that lie. Nobody got arrested or prosecuted.

How many on these boards have exercised warrants and are drip feeding mkt.The company stated they had strong support and choose the investors. If 14p offer came why are they selling now.No tr1 have come out, you would have assumed some would be released.

Katsy - No need to apologise for in reality there is no difference and its the cashing out of the warrants that's depressing the price. 100 million were executed. This is why all the buys do nothing for the price but a handful of sells sends it down.

loglorry1 - "The FCA only regulates firms incorporated in the UK"

The FCA ensures that all firms listed on the London Stock Exchange abides by the rules irrespective if the are registered in the UK, Jersey or the US.

It makes no difference whether a company has a nomad or not. The FCA is only concerned with those responsible for advising the company of the regulations.

1.3 It is common for a potential offeror, or a company in receipt of an approach, to notify its financial adviser or corporate broker of the possible offer or approach at an early stage. The Executive encourages this practice since such advisers will normally have better systems and more resources than their clients to fulfil the task of monitoring compliance with Rule 2."

4.2 "The Executive must be consulted by a potential offeror, or its financial adviser, at an appropriate stage in order for it to be able to determine whether an announcement is required under Rule 2.2(d). Consultation will not necessarily lead to a requirement to make an announcement; this will depend on all the relevant circumstances."

The chances for the shorters to make a profit here is very slim and to not close the shorts is a very risky gamble

My apologies for getting the listing exchange wrong. Good luck with your investment, will keep an eye on this, but the value of what the company has compared to the value of this offer doesn't stack up.

OK I'm sucked in to this again. There is no NOAMD they don't have an AIM listing it is a junior market main listing with no NOMAD. The FCA only regulates firms incorporated in the UK. UPL is incorporated in Jersey.

The warrants were exercised and the new stock was admitted to dealing. That is in an RNS. It's fair to assume the reason for this is so that it can be sold! Why would anyone not exercise and sell into a 10-20x spike?

Log, the only ones who can confirm it for sure is the nomad, the nomad would use to approve the RNS so would need to see the offer, not the FCA.

The market obviously thinks very little of this offer. Huge disconnect between 14p and what the price is now. AIM is full of smoke and mirrors. No coincidence that warrants were cashed in so soon after the announcement. Anyway good luck to those who piled in on the news.

I'm only going to respond to one more question. The FCA did tell me that it was out with their juristiction and so they had no part to play. They told me to contact Jersey as I have already posted. There is a free open line to the FCA you can all call to check. I can find no regulator out there who would validate what the company put out re this bid. That doesn't mean its untrue but it does mean you have to trust the company completely.

Thanks loglorry, I am sure I will live without your pearls of wisdom. If you had any wisdom you would have been in this at 0.4p not when it has gone up 1000%

I called the FCA and Take Over Panel on the day they put the news out to try to research how likely it was to be true. Have you even bothered?

Sorry guys enough teaching you how things work for now. How about you go and do some research instead?
