If you ever get nervous, just scroll over to the 12-month chart. I know it's long term, but it's beautiful to behold :)

Look at the chart, recovering on cue! This has to be so predictable - a big rise coming any time soon. It looks as though it's off the naughty step and it could be just a couple of step ups away from 5p. AIMO of course.

Morning Ht...the next batch of traders will be along soon...having just been toasted by the delay...but it does need some positive news now to get it properly moving...I am working on the London bus theory...no news for weeks then 3-4 arrive at once !

I think the market knows...

a) that its just a few days...

b) that it has been corallian that have dragged their feet and the consortium as a whole have acted in good faith with projected spud dates

H...did you see the comment in the twitter group yesterday ?..."who said it would be weeks" ? ;-)

Agree 100% Hull. Shows the strength and depth of UPL that the share price held up pretty well. Other oil companies are dropping 25+% on the hint of a problem.

Good morning all, I was out most of the day yesterday, so missed the action. I do not think that the small delay will have come as a surprise to anyone as the share movement was telling us, all was not up too scratch. I for one, would have liked to stay above 4p, as it was a hard nut to crack. The delay is no problem for me but I would like to see some meat added to the share price before the spud announcement. Also looking forward to news from North Africa.

Agreed, this is nothing in the O & G sector. I think mm's have been fishing for cheap shares for some time and today they have clearly picked some up. Easy money for them when they sell the same shares at a price well north of 4p very soon.

Important to remember the positives here. Wick, Tunisia, Sarawak and a quality management who are eyeball deep in it. This is a very minor delay probably.

Previous to PRD and UPL you had backed a fair few donkeys camouflaged as stallions tho.

2Prismo - I’ve backed both horses and consider them as having a good chance of winning the national. Even Red Rum had his weeks off taking it easy. As UPL are now. We should be galloping again soon enough.

Correcto cashcard...UPL have no say in this other than providing finance...its Corallian's baby...I dont mind delays...it sorts the wheat from the chaff...removes the dead wood

They are both great investments, longterm. PRD will come back after the current momentum dies down. Wick is still going to happen but I have to admit they have been slow in getting the site survey done and approvals in. But I put that down to Corallian. I expect drilling in October.

Why are people so short termist. Sounding like an old grump here but just reflects society today. Instant wins always wanted. See this as a buying opportunity
