Good size permit with a discovery. Waiting on award and then seismic so maybe nothing until Q1 re completion/processing, then a well location. Money for the seismic but needs cash for the well as I see it. This is where I had hoped they might have picked up a producing or near production asset in Sarawak to help with funding work in Tunisia. Steady progress.

"This opportunity would fit well with the timeframe for the Wick well, which is to spud in September 2018."What does SS mean by this last sentence?

I have to agree this is building nicely. I do like the way this company goes about its business in a quiet, professional and efficient manner. This is also reflected in the RNs with all angles covered and in a language the ordinary PI can understand. It would be rude not to have a small 100k top up.

Looks very promising, and far preferable to Morocco or Algeria.

But it's a slow burner - the licence isn't yet in hand, and even then, a 2D seismic survey (the cheapest way to narrow down options rather than define a drillable prospect) has to be planned, executed, and interpreted.

As souls noted, it would be good to get a little more colour on the canvas - sounds like a great asset, but timescale to meaningful, price-changing news looks to be beyond months

Well prima facie, it looks a decent asset:

"As indicated by Upland's technical work on the area, the Company believes there is the potential for very substantial quantities of recoverable gas within the permit area".

There is the Nth Africa asset. Nice piece of news and the company continues to do what it says on the tin.
Not sure there will be much excitement initially but hopefully more as further details come out.
Hopefully Vox can get SS in for an update.

Lots of talk about rigs on the board today. I think we will need a drilling permit before any rig is utilised.....

The 5 bedroom property and plush motor used to be AUs, however it was repossessed and sold to the neighbour . Now he looks over it the fence at the house and motor like a voyeur.

O/T Lols, It is a big field tho, about 2acres, with a detached 5 bed property in the middle and a gleaming Motor outside. Anyway, just for background, ‘theJaba’; is also known as , and LIKES to be known as, ‘theThailandTickler’

Don’t ask!
