Money was spent on the reprocessing of data at a deeper level(sub-salt layer). These are the results that will be published soon as referred to in today's RNS.

It's all very well having patience, DDDD, but 6 months ago, in mid-July 2020, they raised less than £500k and stated "The proceeds of this fund raise will be deployed on value adding activities such as the work programme for the Saouaf Permit in Tunisia and to close new identified and screened opportunities in both South East Asia and North Africa."

Well, they've not closed anything, and they haven't done the 2D seismic program in Tunisia - there can't be that much left in the pot to "close opportunities". Who is going to give more cash, unless at very much lower prices, to bail them out for the next 6 months.

If it is that well known Dan and it is such a slam dunk then why doesn't it get steam rolled by a bigger company?

This lot are sitting on a massive amount of Tunisian gas.
I previously spoke to some ex BP guys and they knew what was on offer.

They need to get someone to wake up and do some work.
Do not blame Covid for their sleepy, non activity.

You need plenty of patience with this lot.

DDDD.

You're living in the same dream world as me except that you probably own more shares!!

Steve Staley was non exec at Cove and CEO here when Saouaf was landed.

You're living in dream land nlmbidc.

It remains a fortune to fait as usual and a hit and hope with Tunisia while something maybe drops in our favour in Sarawak or elsewhere.

According to the RNS the results of reworking of data will be published in the near future.

Once the right news is out there will be new shareholders.

What has Cove energy got to do with it?

Ermm it is people buying in that is going to increase the share price so when they need to raise again they will be able to at a better price.
If it's irrelevant that people buy in you might as well take your money now.

It's irrelevant whether the buyers are piling in. You're invested so you should know the story.

How much oil and gas did Cove energy produce before it was sold off for over a billion dollars.

I see the buyers are piling in ;-)

Why did you invest soulsauce. Was it just for Wick?

LOL that's what they do is it ;-)

So we are going to run some more seismic on our 'limp along' (your words) shoestring budget and miraculously produce data, using 2D, good enough for a major to come in, and then they woke up.
Someone has been feeding you some right garbage.

They'll take the bait if the seismic and a CPR supports a multiple TCF gas play in Saouaf. That what the majors do.

Oh I get it nlmbidc, they have some sort of a cobbled together plan, which is now probably plan x,y, or z and they hope they can get enough data together on the salt play in the 'hope' that someone with deep pockets takes the bait.
AND if they don't?

They don't have bigger fish, they think they have bigger fish - nothing in that salt play is certain.

You don't get it soulsauce. The objective of the excersise is to increase the value of Saouaf to entice a JV or to sell it off for oodles of dosh. They are not interested in Dekrila at this time. The have bigger fish.....

When did I say it wasn't nlmbidc? And what difference to that make to the COS or it not finding anything?

Clearly the gas is showing on the seismic data, most likely beneath Bou dabous. The question is how much gas and whether its trapped and sealed.

The new seismic will indicate how much gas later this year. Could be multiple TCF.

If it is, a JV could be on the cards.

You haven't answered my question tyler, you say this isn't a duster like Wick and then you say Wick only had a 36% COS.
So how are you so certain about Saouaf and what is the COS?
