19/1/2020 21:21 | 'late life marginal fields' would be 'game changing' for the company, no ? Anyway as you say, all very intriguing to say the least......tick tock, only time will tell. | sull75
19/1/2020 20:54 | You see with your first paragraph nlmbidc the word oxymoron springs to mind. The terms 'game changing' and 'late life marginal fields' do not compute and to my mind seem incompatible. May be I am missing something but every time I hear those latter two terms I get nervous as many a small company has come a cropper chasing similar. Hope I am wrong but it's as much of a conundrum as the financing and if nothing else it makes it intriguing. | soulsauce
19/1/2020 20:32 | Chris has also identified several attractive opportunities in the Asia Pacific region which offer unique and possibly game changing potential for the Company to partner with established regional players in both late life and marginal field assets. At least 2 of these have been evaluated over the last few months. Hopefully news on these in the coming weeks and financing to support them. | nlmbidc
19/1/2020 19:03 | I am not sure about that Sull as Clns have often caused as much, if not more, damage to shareholders as dilution. Whatever happens he has a tough task to increase the share price unless he manages to drop some stunning news. Will this week bring a glimmer of hope? Recent trade volume would suggest not. | soulsauce
19/1/2020 16:58 | It will, maybe it will be a return to the CLN agreement that was in place previously with the major shareholders. | sull75
19/1/2020 16:47 | Financing without big dilution. It will be interesting to see how he squares that circle Sull. | soulsauce
19/1/2020 16:43 | Number one priority for CP is financing hence the latest addition to the board. Good point made that he's 100 percent focused and hasn't other directorial interests on the side like Dr S. | sull75
19/1/2020 14:58 | "Time scale mentioned was in 2 months from 10th Dec"..... for what exactly ? Hopefully we'll find out in 3 weeks :) | sull75
18/1/2020 16:01 | TheJABA can't argue with that. | soulsauce
18/1/2020 13:56 | lol! ta for clarifying otherwise do not fancy being burnt, even partially (charred) | tyler90
18/1/2020 13:22 | Charm offensive.... | nlmbidc
18/1/2020 13:22 | CP is 100 percent committed whereas SS had and has lots of other directorships and interests to take up a good deal of his time CP said at the AGM that the char. Offensive to the city, presentations and Vox market interviews will happen once we get something over the line. Time-scale mentioned was in the next two months (from December 10th). | nlmbidc
18/1/2020 11:51 | Some would say it is amateurish at present | tyler90
18/1/2020 11:34 | Yes it was definitely made. 4 months in and not any real progress but ...... he's flying here there and everywhere and is busy......Steve Staley was busy too. The Comms and PR in UPL is absolutely shocking. Honestly an amateur could do better. | thejaba
17/1/2020 18:40 | Wressle planning finally approved over at EOG...UPL let that go about 2 years ago, how time flies when you're having fun...that might have caused a bit of excitement here. | jimmladd1
17/1/2020 16:28 | Lol. You would have to be moving in the first place | soulsauce
17/1/2020 16:27 | Maybe seatbelts because brakes might be applied suddenly...? | jimmladd1
17/1/2020 16:25 | But in these two Asia Pacific cases it is for end-of-life production / marginal fields so we'll be able to hit the ground running...... | nlmbidc
17/1/2020 14:10 | If indeed that 'seat belt' comment was made then he must be regretting it since although the o&g sector can be exciting if a discovery is made, on the whole it is like watching paint dry lol! | tyler90
17/1/2020 13:03 | No it's the very steady drive ahead of the seat belts on ride 😉 | soulsauce
17/1/2020 12:29 | 😂😂 | soulsauce
17/1/2020 12:15 | Is this the lull before the storm? | tyler90
15/1/2020 17:34 | ......at least there were no sells. | sull75
14/1/2020 13:30 | I wish I had a penny for all the No Brainers and Slam Dunks I read on these BBs over the years. | divmad
14/1/2020 11:00 | If that is the case, stop wasting your time posting on here but go and buy loads more. Even better borrow money to buy them because you will be quids in...no brainer isn't it? LOL! | tyler90 |
