19/10/2018 04:10 | I was in a small collision recently and remarkably walked away unmarked. I had to mention reading Shares188 posts on a daily basis has given me whiplash and now in a neck brace :( | baggins100
19/10/2018 02:06 | Throwing... Yes the charts are interesting , because there is only one resistance level, 4p once that's broken it could land anywhere, it will set a new high. A possible rerate , but this is all news related. Has to close above 5p for confirmation though ... My guess is if news is on track ,double digits will be here in a flash.... If not then expect this to side track or even go back to 3p if news is flat ... | shares188
19/10/2018 01:56 | Copperpot, I agree amnesics posts are what's needed here In the bucket loads,its momentum that's needed.. | shares188
18/10/2018 22:41 | Hi guy's, I recommended checking out amnesics post on LSE. | copperpot
18/10/2018 22:06 | Thanks soul, and yes, it absolutely will! I think our chances are very good at Wick. Thanks for the correct terminology too! Chart looks as compelling as the company is! | throwingmuses
18/10/2018 22:01 | Excellent post throwingmuses. The chart is indeed building a pennant or flag and often they can end with a big up thrust. Let's hope that is the case. I agree the company will be a success without Wick but what a launching pad it will provide if it comes in. So many options. | soulsauce
18/10/2018 21:54 | The chart is looking interesting here, seems to be doing a squiggely wiggely maneuver to a point where the potential energy is just going to be too much to hold back the explosion north! A chartist I am not, but I've seen that before a time or two! Many thanks to our friends over on LSE for their great work monitoring the rig movements, I wonder if some movement north towards Wick will coincide with our share price chart moving that same direction. If it does, this may be the last we'll see of these prices, I'm happy to be overloaded here, about two thirds of my portfolio in fact. I feel we have the potential for some of the greatest rewards the stock market has to offer, but without the level of risk normally associated with those smaller growth stocks, you know the one's where funding is expensive and never ending and you get diluted to oblivion. The set up here for future funding is pretty much the best it could be, the market loved it when it was announced and so did I. I've been invested here for ages, but just small for a couple of years, didn't move much, then added after tune investment, and much more when future financing plans were released, and more since... But the tune investment was great because it allowed us to move onto bigger projects much quickly, and give us more options, putting us it this superb position now. An investment obviously made with our ties to Sarawak in mind, and the granting of such good financing terms by the major investors obviously points to the confidence they have in the company. I feel this company will be a success whatever happens at Wick, even whatever happens in North Africa, we'll invest in projects with the best payback for shareholders at the end of the day, hopefully through to production to some extent in all three areas, but even in one location a wise investment would multiply this up numerous times, that's why I don't mind holding heavy here. What if things go well across all the continents though? So many multiples I think I might need a bigger calculator! A trigger happy calculator! I'll get on the phone to Dom Jolly right away! | throwingmuses

18/10/2018 15:08 | Cheers mate, some interesting stuff from Amnesic over on twitter and LSE. | hulltiger
18/10/2018 15:05 | Hello hulltiger, It's par for the course since last May, if you look at the chart. No real trend but lumpy buys and sells have an outsized impact on the share price That will continue until we get some meaty RNSd news. In the meantime, buyers should exercise patience and simply add on dips, which occur quite regularly. ATB. | divmad
18/10/2018 14:51 | Hi Divmad ,volatility is one thing, what do you make of today?,it's all over the place . | hulltiger
18/10/2018 14:47 | Hi copperpot, Yeah I keep forgetting the Main Board listing feature of Upl. Sorry about that folks. But the fact remains, Upl is a nano-stock with share price volatility and expected newsflow akin to a typical AIM oilie so in reality I group it with my other AIM holdings until such time as Upl produces free cash flow and a dividend stream. | divmad
18/10/2018 12:45 | Hi hulltiger, Hope your good matey! Yeah, all is good here on the west coast. I'm just getting some fresh mussels ready for dinner tonight....yum yum! I'm hoping things start moving soon with regards Wick, amnesic is on the ball with vessel movement and he's saying we may see some movement in the next couple of days or so. Take a peek at the "other place" It's a stonker of a day here, lovely and sunny. Time to tend to my veg beds! Take care Mr Tiger :-) | copperpot
18/10/2018 12:02 | Hmm bouncy share price today! | moormoney
18/10/2018 12:02 | Thank you Henry.good to know activity behind the scenes. | moormoney
18/10/2018 11:49 | Morning Copperpot, how is your lovely part of the world? Are you still tracking shipping movements? | hulltiger
18/10/2018 11:36 | Hi Divmad, We're not listed on AIM matey! Thank god! | copperpot
18/10/2018 11:11 | Oh, and in Hnl. But you have to watch that space now (fingers crossed). | divmad
18/10/2018 11:10 | The man at the helm factor. That is the most vital aspect of investing successfully in AIM shares, IMHO. That's why I have shunned Ukog and Aaog, but invested early on in Upl, in Savp, in Eco and Rbd. Same goes for all resource companies, btw. | divmad
18/10/2018 09:54 | Yoga, good morning, I always go back to the man at the helm. It is also down to the faith I have in him ,that I am also invested in PRD. GL | hulltiger
18/10/2018 09:31 | Morning Hull, as someone who has been here since 2016, I think the rate of newsflow has been pretty consistent. The share price movement since the beginning of 2018, on the other hand, has been most pleasing to see. And as you say, a day nearer. | yogaboy
18/10/2018 09:21 | Good morning all, after all the different opinions expressed on here, the one sure positive thing this morning is, we are one day nearer news. | hulltiger |
