30/12/2021 09:17 | Results out - obviously the markets are not reactionary well to the profits warning - will read though the figures later :-( | knigel
30/12/2021 09:17 | Looks grim here..... "Since the key network equipment for the contract has now changed, the Company is required to purchase a large amount of new equipment from a separate supplier. Cash resources are required to purchase the new equipment, it also requires time and manpower to check with MTRC for matching, replacement and compatibility with the existing equipment." | terminator101
23/12/2021 14:35 | Matters look to have changed: | noirua
23/12/2021 13:43 | Housing in Hong Kong is the most expensive in the world. "For the 11th year in a row, Hong Kong tops the list as the least affordable city in terms of housing prices." | zangdook
23/12/2021 13:40 | Depends if food and housing costs are lower too - it’s all relative | knigel

23/12/2021 12:07 | These aren't training schemes, Dave. Experience is required for all these jobs, even the $2800 supervisor. | zangdook
23/12/2021 12:03 | Hong Kong YTS Scheme I used to do 36 hours a week for £27 wages when I was 16-18 | dave4545
23/12/2021 11:53 | The site supervisor only gets HK$2800 a month. That's less than £10 a day. I have to assume this is normal, but Hong Kong is not a cheap place to live. £10 a day might pay for your fares to work and basic food but you'd still be living with Mum and Dad and not much hope of a social life. | zangdook
23/12/2021 11:50 | 2 years experience and you only get £500 a month. You probably can't even rent a room in Hong Kong for that. | zangdook
23/12/2021 11:48 | Job Opportunities: WallMine: Probably not updated very recently. | noirua
21/12/2021 14:53 | Funny, none of those three links mentions Univision, although they list a lot of other companies he resigned from or is currently still at. | zangdook
21/12/2021 14:22 | Nicholas James LYTH -- UK Registered Companies Current UK Companies: It does look, maybe wrong, that Mr Lyth has found the coronavirus restrictions too difficult to carry out his work with Univision effectively. Nicholas Lyth biography Nicholas James Lyth has been appointed as Non-Executive Independent Director of UniVision Engineering Ltd., with effect from October 17, 2011. Mr. Lyth is a qualified chartered management accountant and has over 12 years experience as a finance professional, having spent a number of years as director of UK companies. Nicholas is currently Non Executive Chairman of Taihua plc, an AIM quoted manufacturer of pharmaceuticals, based in China. He is responsible for day to day liaison with UK investors. [ I can't remember much liaising going on with UK investors during his time at Univision. Some here at ADVFN could liaise a good deal better ] | noirua
20/12/2021 17:14 | Cooperation Framework Agreement - - January 2020 Under this Agreement, UniVision and the CREHK-CRWE Joint Venture will look to build upon on their recent experience working together to look to co-operate on other projects relating to smart cities, investment and finance, product and services, sales and distribution and work in overseas markets. Each company will regard the other party as its first choice cooperation partner in these areas. November 2019 - - Appointment of Major Contractor China Railway Wuhan Electrification Engineering Group Limited (“CRWE”) and there agreement with China Railway Engineering (Hong Kong) Limited (“CREHK” [Maybe this interested party could have been a reason Sinocloud discontinued its interest in Univision due to the cooperation parties agreement. Should China Railway be looking to take an interest in Univision they would want to appoint directors to the board of Univision. This would finalise the move Chairman Stephen Koo always wanted in a move into China.] | noirua
20/12/2021 16:32 | Nick Lyth has gone. The only other company I know he was involved with was TAIH which simply disappeared as far as anyone can tell, so I'm not sure he's a great loss. If he'd made a fuss like the UK directors of NBU did I'd have been more impressed. Of course UVEL is completely different, I don't mean to suggest otherwise, and perhaps he did make some sort of contribution as the RNS says. | meathed
20/12/2021 11:25 | At 0.85p the Univision share price is back to the price it was in April 2017. Although the spread then was 0.80p - 0.90p. There then followed a runup peaking at over 5p. | noirua
