21/10/2014 10:40 | Nothing can be done but to wait for the new legal representative to be appointed and then await the Arbitration Commission's decision. Following that will be a delay, hopefully not long, on Hua Xin's decision on a go-ahead for a mall purchase. Of course the price and make up of any deal is also important. The slashing of the dividend looks prudent as this delay becomes extended for one year more than expected, and freezing up everything at Leader Smart Shanghai Limited. | ![]() noirua
21/10/2014 10:16 | Amazing almost at year low and down 11% on 325k of sells! | ![]() bernieboy
18/10/2014 15:57 | The commission in relation to this dispute has obtained some documents and information to enable it to reach a final decision. However, following the death of Fu Li Wa's legal representative, named as Mr. Wu, the arbitration will be temporarily suspended until a successor is announced. From this statement it looks like the committee was on the verge of bringing out a decision, is this your conclusion as well? If we don't get news soon I'm going to have to sell down some of mine as I've got to get my pennies working and earning and they just aren't doing that here. Was also disappointed with the level of the dividend as well, I was here for a growing dividend not one that was a third of the previous year | ![]() sweepie2
18/10/2014 13:58 | Univision Says Zhongshan Shopping Mall Sale... | Morningstar The remaining stake in the mall is owned by Zhonghsan Fu Li Wa Property Development Ltd, which has agreed to sell its stake to Hua Xin, Hong Yi Real Estate Agency Company Ltd. However this sale is in dispute over some of the commercial terms. The commission in relation to this dispute has obtained some documents and information to enable it to reach a final decision. However, following the death of Fu Li Wa's legal representative, named as Mr. Wu, the arbitration will be temporarily suspended until a successor is announced. UniVision said it has submitted an audit report to the commission certifying its subsidiary Leader Smart Engineering Shanghai Ltd has paid Fu Li Wa and its subcontractors not less than CNY67.5 million for its stake in the project, as was requested by the commission. 14/10/2014 09:32 | These small buys are starting to add up hopefully new lawyer is at work and the committee might give us a decision soon, can't believe that given my holding here which for me is quite high I post so rarely here but there is just nothing to talk about. It is such a boring share to hold but the problem is that it is so under valued you just have to keep it clutched close to your chest so you don't sell through sheer boredom and miss out on the big rises which hopefully are not far away(within the next two years lol) | ![]() sweepie2

09/10/2014 15:23 | zangdook et al, dumping losers I always find difficult - but shares like UVEL and OXS look good for varying reason. OXS on a cash payout on an Arbitration decision but mixed up with Chinese and American supposed interests there in Uzbekistan - down about 80% due to a long drawn out Arbitration. May get $400m and share price should rocket, but gold mines are not worth so much these days. UVEL on an unexpectedly long Arbitration, and not helped by recent publicity on Hong Kong marches and currency swings. May get £12 to £14m but rumours of lower property prices this year and doubts over Hua Xin buying if they do not like a future Arbitration decision, linger. Plus points on Oxus are that the decision is on whether an offer by the Uzbeks is enough: So it's a decision on an expected increased figure for the gold mine. UVEL are really just supplying information to the Commission and do have the company's Chairman, who owns 72.5% or so, strongly battling for the company in selling the Zhongshan mall. | ![]() noirua
09/10/2014 14:10 | Yes, I wish I had some spare cash, or the nerve to dump some of my losers and raise it - lots of bargains around but UVEL is near the top of the list. | zangdook
09/10/2014 13:31 | Increased holding to approx 4.2m. Short of cash, but had to top up at this ridiculously low price. Dividend due on Friday I think - top up before then, hmmmmmmm, it's up to you, your call only. Market cap at £2.5m at the start this morning, and mall 51% worth £12m to £14m. Price should be over 2p, imho. | ![]() noirua
06/10/2014 21:50 | sweepie2, No idea, as everything goes along very slowly in Arbitration decisions. You could email Univision I suppose. | ![]() noirua
06/10/2014 16:20 | Hi Noirua Do you know whether the new lawyer has been appointed yet? Thanks | ![]() sweepie2
02/10/2014 09:38 | Odd goings on, 188,996 shares bought yesterday at 0.67p and sold this morning, early doors, at 0.61p. Doesn't appear to be a broker swap. International Arbitration case news [information only, not UVEL]: | ![]() noirua
01/10/2014 15:56 | They may even want to stick in some more CCTV cameras if the troubles go on. | zangdook
01/10/2014 13:07 | News from Hong Kong isn't helpful but shouldn't impact at all. I suppose China cannot have a leader in Hong Kong who doesn't support China, that would be nonsense. What do I know about Hong Kong, ermmmm not much and what do I know about China, hmmmmmmmmmm even less. Anyway, nothing to say on UVEL it's all been said, continuing to watch events, if any, ghosty quiet all round. | ![]() noirua
25/9/2014 10:16 | Added an odd amount at 0.64p to round up to 4.1m, 45% discount to my recent selling price - just watching - no further comment. | ![]() noirua
24/9/2014 15:23 | you think the 40k was a sell? If so, presumably all three trades today were sells, unless the 154k pushed the price down and the 126k was a buy. not really worth worrying about, I suppose. | zangdook
24/9/2014 13:18 | A massive sell of £260 has pushed the price down by over 3%, looks good for my top up, price is so fragile should continue to track down to recent lows of .60p, fingers crossed that it stays down long enough for me to add | ![]() sweepie2
23/9/2014 11:02 | Just watching - all has been said, no further comment. | ![]() noirua
22/9/2014 14:57 | Price heading further lower hoping that it continues to slip or remains around this level until I do my top up, can't believe that anybody is selling around these levels but hey ho their loss will hopefully be my gain. Delay is only a month or six weeks you would have thought and then news could come at any time | ![]() sweepie2
20/9/2014 10:57 | But now on pe of 6.5 too cheap for a tech company which is also growing remember profits were 100% up if you strip out forgiveness of debt, will add once I've finished with AMI. Slow burner but will definately be worth the wait | ![]() sweepie2
19/9/2014 18:08 | There we goes, if Univision only received RMB105m for the 51% of the mall, £8.5 to £9m, and all in cash. Capital gains Tax would be about £1.9m to £2.2m, leaving £6.3m going to Univision. There are many further positions where Univision would receive the extra $3.95m that was to be paid to Maine, but was forgiven. If paid in cash would be £1m after full capital gains tax. If either of the above are paid partly in Hua Xin assets then the capital gains tax will be reduced. The mall may be revalued and 51% paid to Univision in cash or partly assets = up to £15.3m or more probably around £14m due to exchange rates we all know about. | ![]() noirua
19/9/2014 12:22 | Funny to think the mid price of 0.7p is below the basic earnings per share for the year of 0.74p. Admittedly, these earnings were a one-off, bolstered significantly by the debt forgiveness by Mayne but still... and so how much is in the price for Univision's 51% share of a mall that at 31st March 2013 was independently valued at £31m? Of course there have been exchange rate movements since then but still... | webster32 |
