I suspect most holders have been 'bored out' of this stock and that those with patience will be rewarded before too long.

I think you are really right this was flagged up earlier. Also they are now half way through this half so should have a good handle on the likely out turn especially if the projects are in train.

A"soft" first half was presaged at the AGM with new contracts and profits coming through hereon in.There are no surprises here and everything appears to be going more or less to plan.In my opinion the future looks rosy.

Someone has been taking a position before results & the Company is certainly extremely bullish on the next 6 months. Allied to a broker target of over 12p it makes sense to await developments imo.spud

Mixed feelings about the results, if it works out as the board say we will have to wait another 6 months. Cannot see the share price moving much in the short term IMHO.

Lets hope results are OK. I did think that the share price would have moved further North on the news of the contract win, announcement did not state the value of the contract though.

Some extremely lumpy trades going through and on a lowly 8x who can blame them.

Yup that seems to be about right (118% uplift to current price). I guess we'll be able to crunch the numbers more accurately in a few days once the Interims are released.

Universe Group stock had its “corporateR21; rating reissued by investment analysts at FinnCap in a note issued to investors on Thursday. They currently have a 12p price target on the stock.

A nice contract for HTEC, 650 Valero (Texaco branded) sites.



Somewhat disappointing that it only warrants a publicity style RNSNON rather than a full regulatory one but encouraging none the less.

Either way, Downing has been relentless in their accumulation, which gives a deal of comfort to holders.Circa 10x is still a lowly rating with plenty of upside IMO.spud

Certainly, Downing ONE VCT plc is one of the notified holders, but I doubt they were the acquiror of the latest purchase as I am under the impression that VCT's can only subscribe for newly issued shares direct from the company and not buy "second hand" shares in the market. This measure is designed to facilitate the raising of new capital for young or expanding small companies.

Hence I assume that the purchase was probably for the PFS Downing Active Management Fund.

(Those in Client funds managed by Downing LLP may be constituents of personal EIS portfolios.)

It would be interesting to know whether Downing are purchasing as a med/long term investment or whether they expect to be able to trade a large block to a potential acquiror.

All three trades are sells with the overhang slowly unwinding. Once this is exhausted then we should see a fairly rapid upswing in the price to circa 10p (provided the results are positive).

Edit - It appears that the 2.3m was in fact a Downing buy.

Further big trades today.I know the company is expecting to land some substantial contracts later this year.Perhaps certain high profile investors are setting their stalls out accordingly.Any views?

Looks as if we have a distressed seller dumping yesterday @ 4.85 and today @ 4.5

Edit: I'll be keeping my powder dry for when the seller has dropped all his stock - He must be desperate..
