02/2/2013 06:28 | Another factor to take into concideration why the share price as moved North could be that their is a shortage of shares, approx 166m held by insiders and Directors leaving only 20m held by PI`s. 8m+ passed from Institution to Institution IMHO shows that MM`s could not fill Downing Corp requirement. | dealit
01/2/2013 14:08 | Brookwell are just a holding house for distressed institutional blocks btw. They were always going to sell once UNG hit an acceptable level for them to release a sizeable holding. It is excellent news that a top investment house like Downing are building a very large stake. Judith MacKenzie is A1 as a small cap fund manager IMO | davidosh
01/2/2013 12:01 | Downing Corporate Finance up from 13.68% to 18.05% while Brookwell is down from 4.88% to under 3%. | loganair
31/1/2013 21:35 | ToBack - I think your previous comment has some relevance. Also, a rising share price creates its own interest. I have always viewed UNG as a minnow in a rather large sea with one moderately successful brand (HTec) and a load of garbage. The garbage and failed experiments have been largely cleared out and we appear to be left with a readily scalable business and, I assume, a good gross margin leading to a high drop-through rate on any additional contracts. It used to be on my "looking-for-an-oppo | boadicea
31/1/2013 17:07 | What has sparked the interest all of a sudden? News due??? | toback
31/1/2013 16:38 | 100k trade at 5p just gone through at the end of the day. | davidosh
31/1/2013 14:13 | Into new highs now. | cfro
31/1/2013 14:11 | Thorne3 - certainly agree with you - I am expecting 10p at some point this year. Just on what we know and delivery of more of the same. They are probably looking slightly further ahead now and how to turbo-charge next years results. I hope they can do it organically with a couple more large contract wins. | toback
31/1/2013 13:59 | Oops, that was yesterday - hasn't Jan flown :-) CR | cockneyrebel
31/1/2013 13:33 | Big buy gone through and move the price. 7m nearly. CR | cockneyrebel
31/1/2013 13:29 | Taking into consideration the quality of earnings now being generated i foresee the 10p level being achieved within the year. This stock will attract a high p/e for some years to come. | thorne3
31/1/2013 10:26 | I would be disappointed at anything less than 0.5p and with the recent TS I am hoping for 0.7. Then 1p next year following sale of non-performing business, full year trading at current rate and lack of interest payments. | toback
31/1/2013 10:16 | Interesting to see what they achieve earnings wise for the second half. They have already done eps of 0.35p for the first half but since then there has been a share dillution. However, they have since said that trading is ahead of expectations and also announced another contract win. | cfro
31/1/2013 10:10 | I am kicking my self-hard, just a few months ago I picked some up at 1.65p, almost their all time low. I had more spare cash but was waiting for something better.....damn!!! | loganair
31/1/2013 10:03 | Lubbly jubbly. As I commented at 28 above, the management changes here were crucial and I think the large buys show they are winning over the serious buyers now. | davidosh
31/1/2013 09:04 | Close to new highs. | cfro
30/1/2013 20:33 | My 5p initial target is looking good. Then on to 10p. . . . | toback
30/1/2013 18:30 | Not suprised with the value on offer here. Ticking back up today, just look at that chart, isnt it gorgeous!? | cfro
30/1/2013 16:52 | wow someone just bought nearly 7m at 4.5p | toback
23/1/2013 17:19 | Davidosh. As a holder of some 3.5m shares in Ung bought for recovery at the lower levels i'd be interested to hear your assessment of S.M.'s "detailed plans"I've spoken to the man on a couple occasions and have been very impressed. My view is that we might all be very surprised at just how much growth is realised in this situation over the next few years and how this will impact on the share price. | thorne3
16/1/2013 13:27 | CR...You spot more than most mate! I think you are spot on about the management changes and Stephen McLeod is an excellent CEO who really impressed me when I had lunch with him nearly a year ago and heard his detailed plans. I had been a long term unhappy holder but could see the green shoots. The guys presented at our Mello Central last Summer and I have backed the new team all the way including helping with new money in the placing. I really think the company can grow quickly and has a good reputation in its core business which it is now giving 100% concentration and investment in. | davidosh
16/1/2013 12:35 | Have to thank Cfro for the heads up here. Chart turning up lovely, director buying and board changes are a recipe for a recovery stock imo. Followed these years ago but they really did need to make board changes imo - that seems to have happened. Would have been nice to spot the chart at 3p but there you go, can't spot them all at the optimum time and I'd have needed some chart uplift to want to buy these. CR | cockneyrebel
16/1/2013 07:51 | Lovely contract win. | cfro
15/1/2013 09:31 | There is much more discussion on the other board so probably best to keep it all on the one board.... | davidosh
15/1/2013 09:03 | Nice to see Director buying. Not massive in terms of outlay but all adds to the story. | toback |
