FINAL AUDITED RESULTS FOR THE TWELVE MONTHS TO
30th September 2004

•Reported PBT £261,000 compared to a loss of £477,000 in the prior year

•Turnover up by 126.3% to £1,788,000

•Reported earnings per share 1.67p compared to a loss of 3.68p in the
prior year.

•Strengthened balance sheet with gross cash and deposits of £3,795,000 to
support future growth.

Commenting on the results and prospects, Steve Davies, Chairman, said:

'These are strong results which show again as forecast, another solid period of
growth in contracts for the Company's services. They reflect the quality of
United Clearing's services and have strengthened our position as the only
independent provider of financial clearing and settlement services to the
telecommunications industry'.

Atul Devani, CEO, added:

'There are good opportunities for us in 2005. We again expect to grow our
revenue through further enhancement of our products and services to provide more
added value to operators in the management of their roaming revenues. In
addition the Company is actively looking at potential acquisitions that will
complement our current business model and provide us with a scope to diversify
our current range of services and increase our customer base and revenues'.

The interim results to 31 March 2004 were impressive, turnover grew by 208%

The forecast for 2005 is for a turnover of 4 million pounds, equating to pre-tax profits of 2.2 million and that leaves the stock on a PE ratio of 8.9. which is a little lower than 2004 PE ratio of 61.1.

An added bonus is that United now has a net 5 million in the bank so there are no balance sheet worries.

So now all we can do is wait and see.

I found these recently with the notice of results and think they could be very interesting
I`ve dived in today as one of the 4 people trading but i`m hoping tomorrow first results since flotation could bring these to the attention of the masses.
The potential for growth really must be impressive

my take is that share price is being held down (on a v offputting spread) due to little knowledge of its existence/listing + noit. hopefully a good set of results on friday will bring some attention to the share and create some liquidity for excited folks to get in and noit to get rid of some.

i came across these via noit

and thought they looked quite interesting. not really had a chance to research them yet so your forecast usefull innov.

couple of points would be that the highly respected herald it took a stake (a big plus). but that noit is in realization mode so that it will not be able to hold its stake long term. of course, as long as ucl pleases the mkt that wont be a problem, but if things move slower than planned it could prove a big drag on the shareprice.

Think you will find next prelim announcement 24 - Nov - 2004.

I have had a small (speculative) punt on them.

United Clearing has an extensive client list, including big players like Orange, 3, O2, T-Mobile, Cincinnati Bell, VIPnet, Edge Wireless, and Swisscom Mobile.

It provides settlement on international roaming, voice and data services.
In English, that means it settles payments of all mobile services (calls, picture messaging, downloads, etc) through one invoice, even when the operator's customer is using a foreign network.

its a very small company and has got some very interesting customers and has made a decsend profit, are going the positive way,its a gamble and risky.
