Posted at 03/4/2018 19:20 by davethechef Well I'm still receiving divi cheques, which at least pays for a few beers lol!Better than nothing I suppose! Im sure we've all had shares which we've lost everything, when suddenly gone into administration etc, as a seasoned investor I will admit. Mainly into AMED, and awaiting positive news there. Posted at 22/6/2011 08:32 by zooshare just coverted all my shares from scr (UCL) frozen for a long time to UNV CDIs on AUS market. At least they are part of my portfolio and will be able to trade them, once they 4x current price to get my losses...what an investment. still, it looks like the co is doing well and there is an excellent market for coking coal...and why are they still delisted on lse?btw, my broker TDW did the conversion, cost £100 + vat. glad to see it now in my portfolio.... sp was twice the current only few months ago and took some hammering like most of small/aim stocks. so at least it will get to that much given the demand for coking coal. gla |
Posted at 16/2/2011 14:08 by benson384 Anyone help me ? I received a letter from my broker, September 2010, saying that after a subdivison I now hold 14,000 shares of Ordinary 0.05p in UCL,(original holding was SCR). Do you need to transfer to Australian UNV register or just sell them in Australia as UCL ?Thanks in anticpation. |
Posted at 14/2/2011 17:46 by tinvan Going back a few posts, are you quite sure Selftrade can't/won't trade UCL/UNV? They are showing up in my SIPP with Selfrade with a tradeable sign next to them. |
Posted at 03/2/2011 23:07 by eibbor yep, depends if you really meant 9000 UCL or 9000 SCR which went 10 to 1 then x2 (so you'd end up with 1800 UCL/UNV) |
Posted at 02/2/2011 20:05 by delphoss I had forgotten all about these. I have 9000 ucl shares ( from scr days)currently showing as valued at nothing with tdwaterhouse - can any one tell me how I work out what they are worth before I contact tdwaterhouse? Many Thanks in advance |
Posted at 24/1/2011 21:19 by nightmare trader Jervaulx. Just had a letter from Barclays stating that they are unable to hold my UCL shares and they will either sell them or transfer them to Barclays wealth - at extra cost obviously! Do I have any other options? I take it that I can hold the share certificate although selling might prove difficult. I really see potential in UCL and I'm therefore not keen to sell even though my holding isn't massive (sub £10K). Open to ideas and would welcome direction.NT |
Posted at 19/1/2011 15:36 by nightmare trader Jervaulx. Many thanks. I am with Barclays and they list the share under UCL and my holdings, but no value. I take it that is as a result of the ASX listing? Apologies - Lots of dull questions! |
Posted at 19/1/2011 14:23 by nightmare trader Please excuse my ignorance but does anyone know when UCL will be listed in the UK as I have a few old SCR shares under the new banner of UCL sat in my portfolio. Thanks. |
Posted at 04/1/2011 14:24 by roks Just spoke to TDW, they say as UCL has de-listed I've lost all my shares....is that true? |
