22/7/2016 08:19 | several out there like this so not surprising too smaller company to be on most peoples radar directors payments hold back pretax probably they don't work on assumption that their shares would be worth more than their extra pay when their shares they own go up yield around 3.5% | ![]() ntv
22/7/2016 07:18 | freehold property and land next to it for selling should at the very least IMO create some value for the business....@ £8m market cap and no debt and the earnings it is producing, less freehold value, it just looks an odd valuation IMO....let's see....20p would be more like it but then I am an owner and biased! but under 5 X PBT with asset backing and no debt looks odd IMO | ![]() qs99
22/7/2016 07:08 | carpetright is a competitor but is poorly run with a lot of debt | ![]() ntv
22/7/2016 07:06 | purchase of freehold should save some rental outgoings but shame they didn't state how much it will save. also in the purchase was an investment property. it will be interesting to see what this can be used for at the agm | ![]() ntv

02/7/2016 00:29 | Surprised if they do not go private - it must cost more than its worth being quoted on aim shares are very hard to trade at times free float is probably around 20% say 16 million shares. Surprised directors and large shareholders do not buy out the minority. Some valid criticism directors are over paid taking into account the size and profitability of the operation. Be interested to know if the small store concept is working CPR also trialing they report some success. They need to look at store locations in Doncaster they look like also runs against Wilson carpets.Put Doncaster and carpets up on Google you cannot see them on page 1 gave up still could not find them by page 5 if Doncaster is anything to go by a big improvement needed both on store location and on search engines. | ![]() mark1000

07/6/2016 17:01 | Retailer United Carpets and Beds has introduced more efficient waste practices at eight of its UK stores after a deal with Elland-based Orchard Facilities Management. The Rotherham-based franchised flooring and bed retailer said introducing the new management processes at eight of its franchises would enable it to streamline operations, simplify administration and reduce costs. United Carpets is the second-largest carpet and floor covering retailer in the UK with 60-plus stores. James Holdsworth, of Orchard, said: “Restructuring of waste services is already under way at the Lincoln site and will be introduced at further stores across the Midlands and North of England in the coming weeks and months. “ | ![]() loganair |
