26/8/2007 12:48 | What a muppet you are! Mr Tyson - 12 Feb'07 - 16:17 - 510 of 887 Looking dreadful! | lbo
24/8/2007 12:06 | Put a sock or bone in it red dog. Things looking pretty awful for UCG at the moment expect an RNS confirming my thoughts in due course. IMHO | mr tyson
21/8/2007 11:03 | Good buying again today one trade of 76,520. I have again spoken to three of the many shops in the effected area of flooding and they are all STILL run off their feet. Turnover is up by more than 50% from last year and they expect to have record sales for this financial year. Phone them yourselves and then invest in United Carpets. Still tipped to see the share price above 20p by Christmas. | red dog
20/8/2007 13:02 | The benefits are you might learn how to value a company! LOL | lbo
16/8/2007 11:49 | No point wasting money, what are the benefits? LBO must have too much money! | startrekker
14/8/2007 20:03 | "loads of money" but you cant afford to pay a few pounds to be a valaidated user of advfn! LOL | lbo
14/8/2007 15:45 | FACTS dear boy FACTS. Of all those companies in question I have made loads of money on two of them and never invested a penny in the other two. Surprisingly have never traded in CPR or UCG, but maybe tempted at £9 and 9p respectively. | startrekker
14/8/2007 15:31 | Well we all know one thing for sure and that is you are a major muppet! Its in black and white on here, Carpetright, Victoria Carpets and HBOS. It seems your well known around ADVFN for being the resident fool, no matter what unvalidated name you choose to use! LOL | lbo
14/8/2007 15:26 | LBO you tell him, keep him quiet, we don't want everyone knowing do we (said with a hint of sarcasm). | startrekker
14/8/2007 13:11 | You have said that already Red Dog so no need to repeat it. I agree its a cheap way to see how UCG is trading by spending a bit of time and a few pence on doing a few calls But if people cant see the opportunity then my advice is don't point it out to them. The best thing would be for us to get in on the deramping and the share price to weaken allowing us to buy more ahead of the news. | lbo
14/8/2007 12:48 | GUYS: Get on the phone yourselves and you will find out that United Carpet Shops around the areas affected by the floods are doing brisk trade; in fact the staff will tell you they are run off there feet. Also the CEO will tell you that trade across all of their shops are running ahead of last year. The Company could therefore increase the interim dividend. This is bloody good news for all who hold this share and as I have said before we shall see a share price above 20p by Christmas. By the way expect an RNS out two months before the interim results confirming what I have said. Good investing to all. | red dog
14/8/2007 08:51 | Perhaps he should talk to HBOS as you and startrekker seem to be best of buddies with them! Pity its been another loser for you. | lbo
14/8/2007 00:08 | Red Dog You were saying all this last Xmas, now even with half the country flooded the shares are still languishing at sub Feb levels. You are also coming across a tad frustrated that despite all your best efforts the shares just drip down. Don't worry though, I'm sure the guy in the city is trying to arrange a loan note for you at 8% so you can invest and get your 3%. | chela2
13/8/2007 15:42 | "furniture and carpet stores at least are in for a bonanza as victims of the floods are forced to replace damaged items" | lbo
13/8/2007 15:32 | jhan66 - 13 Aug'07 - 14:10 - 868 of 868: No, I was refering to a RNS trading statement. They may use this RNS to put out the date and place of the AGM, BUT the RNS will be specific to the much inproved trading of the Company. | red dog
13/8/2007 15:32 | jhan66 - 13 Aug'07 - 14:10 - 868 of 874 Presume that RNS will be the AGM statement, due late October. (when they're also handing over 3.4%) | red dog

LBO - 9 Aug'07 - 08:06 - 857 of 866 How is Carpetright doing for you below £11! Oh no its back above £13 today again and another nice profit is banked!! Thanks again startrekker. Your rubbish is the best buy signal around advfn both for comedy and financially LOL | lbo
10/8/2007 17:03 | And how close did they come to 10p, a damn sight closer to 10p than 20p. Oh dear, not such a clerer know it all now are you! There is a word that describes someone like you DELUDED Just to put the icing on my cake, take a look over at CPR. Looks like Omelettes again tonight, but don't forget the napkin, you don't want any more egg left on your face. | startrekker
10/8/2007 16:17 | LOL startrekker - 9 Feb'07 - 18:56 - 504 of 863 Okay LBO just for you mate. Get out of these now as they are destined to go back below 10p. Always leave something for the next man, and he's buying now. | lbo |
