Brent up 6% and still no reaction here! We need some actual oil action, oil flow from this well to get the MMs excited enough to to give us 40% or more.......only 6/8 weeks to wait before we know if it's a fountain or a duster.

Hi Bomfin. I appreciated the response. I have to say if that's the case then im clearly ignorant. Thats not impossible. I can understand that from watching the original big investors but I struggle to think this is a ramp. I would have to be doubting the integrity of RBD, never mind UJO. I'm sure a few would be all over that but I'm not so sure. Not all AIM oilers are the same? Are they?

Thanks P@. Guesswhosback2. A decent point but not one which can not be challenged. They can get the money for a drill like this because they get a cut price offer and they know how many they can turnover in the expectation of that great result you hope for. There is risk in that but as you say when the ramp machine gets flowing unhindered the share turnover will rocket and they shall move many of the £7 million pounds worth of new shares at a profit. They will be out before the drill hits target perhaps running their leftover profit shares. They are masters at this and Yes there is the chance they could hit something good also. No worries. Everyone knows ahare prices can go down as well as up. On this one though there is little to back up the positive previous newsflow. Enough for me to suspect it could be a ramp. Then again it might not be.

Wheres Brammers interviews surely would have expected something from the Fat Controller he's never been shy before and then the usual ramping crew that goes on with this BB.
I wonder maybe the FCA are having a little investigation among the NOMAD & UJO to find out if :) any shennanigins went on :):) with the placing desperatley quiet aint it?

It just needs the ramp machine to get working.

The problem is the doubters and the positives are never wrong. If they hit big oil we won't be saying told you so cause we will be getting our pay out. If it doesn't then the doubters will tell you they knew, when indeed they didn't. Why would RBD invest million into drilling if they know it won't happen. It doesnt make sense.

bomfin, yes, fine, annoyed here with myself for believing 'fully funded' statements and £2m owing on first oil at wressle would be 'debt funded' and £5m cash in the bank... But there you are, that's AIM for you.

looking at rbd rns..

The objectives of the WNB-1 well are:

-- To evaluate the extent of the hydrocarbon accumulations found in the Kirkham Abbey formation by the WNA-2 well in June 2019

-- To test the reservoir properties of the deeper Cadeby formation which, if found to be hydrocarbon bearing, could add significantly to the value of the West Newton field

In November 2019, the Operator, provided updated hydrocarbon initially in-place volumetric estimates in respect of the Kirkham Abbey formation post drilling of the WNA-2 well:

Base Case
: * Liquids: 146.4 million barrels ("mmbbl") of oil
initially in-place ("OIIP");

* Gas: 211.5 bcf of gas initially in-place ("GIIP")
Upside Case
: * Liquids: 283 mmbbl OIIP

* Gas: 265.9 bcf GIIP

I think it will be sold to a bigger Company, who needs some potential reserves on their books... Sooner its sold the better, IMO, before Xmas would be nice

Here`s something else to think about. How much is UJO`s share of this drill ? They already raised £7 million off the back of it.

Incidentally, Although I appreciate that p@ took the time to respond. The actual news article he linked to I had seen previously and told me diddly squat. That also tells me something.

I thought p@ responded to me. I didn`t see your comment Bionic. I am not invested although would be if this field was proven up. I don`t think it will be. I can`t say more than that as if I did some would consider it libel. For now, just a little alternative voice for people to ponder.

bionic, bomfin is a highly experienced investor, who has been on advfn almost as long as I have.. 20 years, he will know exactly what the sequence of events were, and why the EWT didn't proceed shortly after the WN A drill..

My question would be to bomfin, are you invested in UJO (placing perhaps), are you looking to buy in?
