a year ago I estimated the share price would be about 0.8 by xmas 2020, after 2 placings the equivalent would be about .5, with the way the market is behaving I simply haven't got a clue where the share price will be tomorrow never mind xmas! however, wressle should deliver as expected and WN looks good so why is the share price trading below the placing price? answers on a postcard :)

Regarding pensions I think clubcat222 is right. According to the 2019 accounts all five of the employees are (or were, in the case of Frazer Lang) UJO directors. So it looks to me as if no pensions are being paid by the company to anyone.

🙇‍♂;️ Union Jack Oil countdown continues to next West Newton well

Union Jack Oil PLC (LON:UJO) told investors that the rig and equipment have been mobilised to the West Newton B-1 well site.

The company, in a statement, said that the preceding programme to drill and set was completed down to a depth of 74 metres.

Rigging up for the main well will take one to two weeks, before a borehole is sunk down to a depth of 2,000 metres. The programme will take six to ten weeks to complete.

West Newton B-1 is targeting the same conventional reservoirs that were encountered in the recently drilled West Newton A-2 well.

Results are expected to inform a subsequent programme of well testing to establish the well's productive capability and future drill operations.

Union Jack owns a 16.665% interest in PEDL183 which hosts the West Newton project.

How exciting...”rig immobilisation”; ☺️...only to take us off the recent share price drama (and 50% valuation wiped off!) 🤦‍a94;️

I have just checked the annual accounts and see no mention of pensions, is that not odd, I thought all employers were required to provide a pension for employees???

Hello telbap. I hate to correct you, but please look at UJO's latest annual report. You can see there that none of the directors receives a pension, a company car, or any other benefit than their salaries and some not all that frequent option awards. But please don't let the truth get in the way of a good slur.
