200bcf of gas onshore that close to a gas main isn't exactly worthless is it?

Heid and co. twitter gang very quiet on LSE this morning. You would think they would be elated as diehard fans of UJO. Can't quite work out what their game is.

It's not a matter of spiked, the share price should be a lot higher on this news, it's just that the MM's know what happens on this kind of news, it gets sold into by the 5-10% day traders .. Once those desperado's are shot of, the mm's will then start to raise the share price.

Its a fabulous RNS with some huge data. The share price is disappointing but it will come. Value always does. The press will get hold of it as the results are pretty substantial for the O&G industry and National importance.

Sources indicate 2 Majors are in the mix to buy out ALL of #WestNewton. Good sources.

Mr Daniel Levi (Sinner)‏ @BrokermanDaniel

The pointer to a takeover of the licence will be when they release an upgraded Brokers Note. That's not for investors it's to set a bench mark on value of buy out. Part of their strategy etc.. #RBD #UJO #WestNewton etc

Offshore numbers onshore.

Amazing to see such a muted response, think directors should just see this bought out to see most value in short term.

Sachin Oza, Co-CEO of Reabold, commented:

"The updated analysis of the West Newton asset not only confirms the likelihood that the dominant phase of the Kirkham Abbey hydrocarbon in place is oil rather than gas, but also that the volumes contained within the Kirkham Abbey are indicated to be significantly greater than those assumed by the existing CPR which was produced prior to the drilling of the A-2 appraisal well.

We remain extremely excited by the potential of what is emerging as a large scale, conventional, onshore oil and gas asset. With Rathlin fully funded for a substantial work programme over the coming months, and with permits already in place for additional drilling at the West Newton B-site, we look forward to updating investors with future results as they become available."

Union Jack Oil PLC (LON:UJO) has been informed by operator Rathlin Energy that the Kirkham Abbey reservoir in the West Newton project area contains a base case 146mln barrels of oil-in-place and a best case of 283mln barrels.

Reabold Resources and Union Jack Oil welcomed positive study results indicating a larger resource base at the West Newton prospect in England.

This liquid element is much higher than originally estimated, David Bramhill, Union Jack’s executive chairman said in a statement

Raithlin came to its conclusion after analysing a 28 metre core sample from Kirkham recovered during the recent drilling of the West Newton A2 well.

Worth $billions.

UJO 16%
RBD 40%

= multibaggers in both, market will have to price a large portion of that in as it is a screaming takeover target now.
